Problem with old grounds is that away fans tend to get put into the shittiest parts of the ground - there may be exceptions but I can't think of any offhand.

Terrific ground, as is Luton, Goodison, Griffin Park and any other ground that gets slagged off these days. A link with the past and the football I remember and love. The main issue with these grounds is the conversion to all seater. As soon as they move these clubs will lose their identity and soul. The upper tier at Loftus road was always seated It’s just a crap design But I basically agree with you. I love these old grounds. Rather than the bog standard bowl yes they added it in the 70s cheap design awful site lines and terrible restricted views. A bad example but in real terms not even that old.
