We're gonna need 12 defenders, never mind strikers.

herin is the problem.. our manager is hell bent on 433
my preference (and they should have had the last 10 games of last season) would be to play Mounie and Grant as a front two, and then pick the midfield /shape that will get the ball to them in the right areas of the pitch
Either 3-5-2 or 4-1-3-2 or even (god forbid) 4-4-2 may well suit this league far better than the rigid mindset this idiot is stuck on

We played better with 442 tonight. Most of the tactical geniuses on here poo poo 442 for some reason, think they have been reading too many coaching manuals. As for Friday, I'd catch Fulham on the hop and play 352 with Mounie and Grant up top and VLP and Diakhaby out wide, as long the latter carry out defensive duties correctly I think it would give us more potency.

I’m guessing you mean when kachunga was playing in a 10 role just off Mounie but at no point did we play 442

4-2-3-1. Pritchard behind Grant, VLP and Diakhaby on the wings.

Mounie missed a gobber tonight. He needs either an extended run in the team or selling and a fresh start. He's mentally fucked, confidence is on the floor. Substitute appearances arent doing him any good. He's ballsed up so many bread and butter chances that a lad on his pay packet/ fee paid should be netting.

As you say though he needs a run in the team. I think his presence might be beneficial to Grant. There is a question mark over his finishing though.
