Cos if we don't why not save us all the hassle and bother of competing by simply not entering.
Tonight was a chance to get some confidence and restore a bit of pride after a difficult 12m or so.
What we saw was players who simply couldn't be arsed and who aren't playing for a manager who seems lost and who made 10 changes which showed off the squad for what it is........average at best and massively inadequate to compete at the top of the championship.
To be honest I'm done with paying for games for now - except for my season ticket. There's simply very little enjoyment watching highly paid players go thru the motions for a manager who seems way out of his depth.
Some may see this as knee jerk but I've been to all 3 games this season and imho are worse than last and deteriorating by the game.

FA Cup is bad enough but this competition it's pretty much law that we play against a lower league team and lose. It always happens. Pretty much the only reason we've got past round 1 any time recently is because of us getting a bye through to R2 due to being in the PL. We're as well forfeiting in this competition unless we're lucky enough to play a team in the same league, in which case we might stand a chance.
