According to the examiner winter was having a heated discussion with the clubs communication team. The club is in crisis.
What do you suppose the communication do?
Maybe tell us it will be a 4 window transition. That we need to get back to league 1 to start again, that’s where Dean started. Tell us that Phill has money. That Mounie needs more recovery time than Mahrez who also played AFCON but is back fully in the first team.

Well we havent a football team so at least we have a communication one. Or do we ? As I dont think the club has ever been as far from its supporters since Ken Davy.

Well we havent a football team so at least we have a communication one. Or do we ? As I dont think the club has ever been as far from its supporters since Ken Davy. Don't think we're anywhere close to the protest groups that were formed back then. We're in a rut, we have new personnel at the helm, we need to work through this period sensibly, otherwise it'll be like the Mike Ashley shenanigans on here... |

DTS is head of communications, as far as I know, and he's a top bloke, working very hard. From the outside looking in there is very little to the department bar him. We are pretty tinpot all over behind the scenes. Assume SMJ is in overall charge. Have to see if he releases a statement on Facebook or wherever.

Its all Chinese whispers: from the bloke that saw it and wrote it, to the bloke that read it and passed it on. Sorry to use this/you as example (you may just have read it on here and written it down) but it is this things like this that sum up DATM over the past six months or more; seeking drama and sensationalism, an inability to report on/discuss truths and no desire to read / investigate / think for ones self. |
