Sorry for the new thread but I don't think I've ever seen a more inept performance than last night than Isaac.
This joker should be nowhere near the first team.
No pace No skill No creativity No workrate No desire Literally nothing good from him.
Bring back Iffy Onura or Simon Baldry both who could do a better job now that this clown.
Whoever sanctioned £13 never mind £13m for him needs their head reading
Up there with one of the worst we have ever had.

George Donis has often been tagged with the "expensive flop" label (& justifiably so) but I'd go as far as to say that thus far, Mbenza has been an ever greater disappointment. I'd lump Diakhaby in that (as we often do when talking about Mbenza). He's an athlete, but he's not a footballer.

Should be playing one of them up front in a 2 with Grant until Mounié is fully fit and telling them that everything they do should be 2 touch and move. Control, pass, run. Control, cross, run. Control, shoot, run ect. They could be a threat if they simplified their games and focused on the basics. Give them too much time and they offer no danger.

When are we going to see this famous pace?
Its like your own arsehole.. you know its there but unless something odds happening, you never actually see it.

Nothing over the past 2 seasons has led me to believe we could beat anyone ever playing slow possession football with some hope of maybe injecting some pace eventually when the opposition are fully set up? I doubt that Jan instructed everyone to stand still after a wide player or forward ran in their half with the ball? We used to do it with scannell and then VLP, em off with the ball and a cry of "go on son'..

So did Usain Bolt, an abundance of it, but could not make it as a professional footballer even in the lower quality Australian League. It’s all well and good having the speed of a cheetah but having no ability with the ball or a footballing brain means you are of no use on the pitch. I feel we are starting with a man short when he is on the pitch; I know his priority is as an attacking player but he has no idea how to help out in a defensive capacity. Watching last night, he appeared to often be in acres of space but were other players purposely not passing to him because they know it’s a wasted ball!
