You know fuck all about me... ...I think Kosi is involved with the podcast, but I'm not 100% sure, but that's it...no idea of the names (other than a Matt you have named) of anyone else or even how many people they are (and I don't think I heard Kosi speak or if he did I didn't recognise his voice from previous Radio Leeds stuff he's been involved with in the few minutes I heard) In the bits of the podcast I listened to, I certainly don't remember hearing a lady, but there was one on Radio Leeds tonight. I don't know the name of the BBC presenter who hosted tonight...was it Tom or Tim or Tony... How on earth would I be expected to know the names of the guests who were introduced just as regular fans and a "we'll hear from the fans" type intro (may have been a reference to who the fans were earlier on...I was only listening from about 615 or so?) Oh... I've engaged with you again. You're good at this!🤷♂️ Kosi aka Richard is on every program going to do with Town, he is always on radio Leeds aswel as attending many other sports like rugby and especially cricket. I also know Alison C Who is always on it too. Yup..I don't listen to Radio Leeds very often (happened to have a quick trip to the train station to pick someone up tonight so just tuned in by chance) but when I have heard Kosi in times past he presents a reasoned and fair opinion and is very well spoken, I generally like what I hear from him as opposed to the lunatic fans that often seem to get a voice on the radio!

Anyone got a link to this playback ? Its just plaiting fog nothing new mate Much like 80% of your content on here then... If it had been broadcast in Norman Collier style would it have been easier for you to understand?

The nonsense is from you. Toffolo and Bolger far more experienced and having played in a winning team compared to any of our defenders. A pair of strikers with 100s of games worth of experience and something like a 1 in 2 or 1 in 3 goal scoring ratio between them, we had a lad up front who has had one decent season at Leyton Orient in the National League, having failed to make any impact in League 2. Our advantage compared to them was they had an inexperienced keeper, and we played with Kachunga, Mbenza and Bacuna who should be better than the equivalent players on the other team (plus arguably Chalobah although in reality he’s probably on a par with Jack Payne). They had more experienced overall XI who have largely been playing at a higher, more competitive level than ours, and off the back of a promotion and a good start to the league and the feel good that gives a club. Anyone who disagrees with what Siewert is saying about what we should have expected from the comparative teams has no idea what they are talking about. I agree on the lack of identity....but that made no difference last night, and wasn’t what Siewert was talking about. The team with the better quality of players won, simple as that. If you’re going to attempt to belittle me, please respond to the actual point I was making rather than some made up thing that you think I’m thinking, and then you might get a bit of respect and dignity in response. Thanks 😘 If all that is the case, then it begs the question why that team was picked by Jan in the first place? He picks the team, so he can't come out afterwards and say they are not ready etc. As a manager you pick the 11 players that are best suited to winning the football match, sounds like Jan was using it a s a glorified friendly game to have a look at player, in which case he is an even bigger idiot than I first thought and has taken the piss out of every fan who went down last night. He picked the team that will do us better in the long run on 2 fronts. 1) We play Fulham on Friday. That will be our 4th game in 11 days. Players needed to rest, and I'd rather they rest for a meaningless cup game than the league. 2) That team is our backup. We will need some if not all of them this year. The issue is, the 2nd string is nowhere near good enough, and that is the board's fault. In the back 4, you had a right-back who's never played above the German 4th tier, a centre half who's only ever played senior football for Brighouse Town for a few months and a left back who was making his 2nd ever senior start. They will have to play championship football this year, and tbh that's a joke. Jan had to play them to give them some sort of 1st team action before being thrown into the deep end. This squad is way, way too thin. Anyone going to that game last night thinking we would put out a better team than what we did only has themselves to blame tbh. It was always going to be a team similar to that, and tbh it had to be. He had little choice.

The collective value of their team was probably far in excess of the team we had on the pitch intil the last 10mins. Mbenza started that's 11m Kach 1.5m No no no......he said value, not how much we bloody paid for him. # had our pants and yfronts down

I've seen a few quotes in € but plenty more gaps to fill there.

French papers at the time had us paying 12.5m euros 2.5 of that the loan fee so would be about £11m The fee is quoted on many different platforms from French and English sources. We have been royally fisted. Even if this 5-6m is true someone wants sacking for paying such cash out along with 9m for diakhaby.

A loss to Lincoln has now ADDED pressure to the Fulham game because fans will be going nuts if we don't pick up a result. If any player needs a rest after playing 3 games so early in the season when they should be at thier fittest then we really are fucked. Jan needed a win, and he chose to pick that team. He simply cannot come out and suggest that his hands were tied. He has a squad, he picks the team. That lies with him, nobody else.

But what worried me was that they looked lost & confused, basically they didn't know what to do, 40 minutes into the game before we had a shot on target. It really was that bad.

I wasn't there, but I've heard similar and that's fair enough. But it seems people are using any available stick to beat Jan with at the moment. If he'd picked a full team and we'd won, he'd have been slated for tiring out the players, or not giving players 1st team minutes. He did what nearly every manager in the competition did and played a 2nd string. IMO it was vital for those players given how inexperienced they are.
