You have literally nothing to back this up. And how would you know, you don't know me Well your recent posts give some indication as to who/what you are.

Wonder how much compensation you'd have to pay for a manager rumoured to be under pressure.

Really don’t want Harris. Can see positives in all the other main candidates, except him. The only bit of hope I'm clinging to is he's still 5/1. Surely those in the know would have been all over it if it was signed and sealed Maybe all the movement is coming from town fans putting money on. And no one is putting any on Harris because no one wants him.

I’m getting that sinking feeling I usually get around this point just before an appointment is about to be made by town.
Oh, this comment was meant for the negative board btw. It’s for gloom and doom merchants only!

We need a rebuild from top to bottom. I think the Cowley's could do that just like they have done at Lincoln and just like Wagner did here. To me Adkins and Harris will literally just manage the team, they may have some short term success but we all know the problems run deeper than the tactics being a little bit off.

Reckon it’ll be Cowley, and if so my bank balance will be much healthier, Towns probably won’t though Town's bank balance will be fine as PH doesn't realize that he shouldn't be betting on this either.

The fact the odds are so short on Cowley having seemingly ruled himself out would suggest either someone thinks they know something or people are a bit thick. I can’t decide which it is at the moment!

It has to be Harris, youngish at 42, championship experienced and not a bad win percentage. HAS to be Harris? That’s your first choice? The man that his fans are hoping leaves? That’s real ambition for a club who were in the PL just 120 days ago. We have the choice of highly experienced British managers, or great ones across the planet...and we’re happy with a Millwall reject? Sure, we need to trim our expectations and expenditure, but there are countless better realistic options than Harris.

I was speculating on what looked realistic assuming the Cowley bros are not doing a u turn.

Reckon it’ll be Cowley, and if so my bank balance will be much healthier, Towns probably won’t though Cowley is another gamble we can no longer afford and it could well mess us up financially. The Cowley option also doesn’t work with the DoF structure we have...unless we sack yet another DoF!!!

I don't understand how approaching Cowley is a gamble. We have gone for ambitious british managers before and they've done fairly well. Powell (for all his detractors) kept us up with no support from the board, Lee Clark for all his detractors got us playing football again after the dirge of Ternant. Simon Grayson got us promoted.
I would prefer someone with a little experience but Cowley would not be a disaster.

Maybe town have agreed to give them more power over recruitment? Town don't have to sack Webb for that to be the case.

I’m looking at Stoke and their excellent ex Luton manager who can’t get to grips with ex PL players and Prima Donnas who prefer not to put a shift in....just like many of ours. It needs some highly experienced to sort out our mess, I worry the Cowleys approach will not work here, but it would be great if it could. They also don’t work with a DoF and we’ve just started with yet another one, so are we going to need to sack him?!

Not being critical, but probably me being a bit ignorant, but not sure I follow the DoF comment, could you explain please.

If Maynard Blue says we’ve “Got our man” then that turn of phrase to me means we’ve got our first choice, which we know is Cowley.
