Odds seem to have shortened a lot on Hughton. William Hill at 2/1 and Bet Victor at 7/4 Maybe they know something?

I don’t really understand why Hughton is so short.
He turned down an approach from Wednesday, surely the jobs are somewhat similar in timing and opportunity? He’s holding out for a crappy EPL team isn’t he, hardly likely to apply in an open call for the job at Town.

After PH having sacked Winkler? Yeh, right, Stendel will surely jump at this "opportunity".

Odds seem to have shortened a lot on Hughton. William Hill at 2/1 and Bet Victor at 7/4 Maybe they know something? They haven't a clue just that will be the option most people are putting money on, that is how the next manager market works. Adkins was priced really high on the night of the sacking as you could have got 25/1 on him, again I imagine a lot put money on him.

I can see it now, Hudson wins say next 3 games comfortably, we offer it him and then the rest will definitely be history

I said on a previous post before the sacking.
The money we got in transfer fees and what we spent out, we have plenty in the tank.
PH could gain a lot of friends by giving Hughton the money he needs, £2m for the year, rolling contract. Like a signing and that’s his wages. No fee, line his pockets, hear his plan for us going forward and this place will change. That would be a coup.
If he was to splash the cash, he could even go get Jokanovic and give hiknsome dollar. Least we know our football will be great to watch.

Hughton is not daft enough, especially at his age, to have the hassle of managing "Toxic Town" sat in the relegation zone and with most of the PL money seemingly already accounted for.
We'll get someone relatively cheap and hopefully respected and capable of motivating our bunch of odds and sods. I wouldn't be surprised if PH took a gamble on Sol Campbell and 6/1 is worth a punt.

Surprised Liam Watson; the manager of Southport isn't in the bookies odds.

I don't recall DW or JS ever making the list. So won't put too much on these names

The Fort William manager is doing a great job. They only lost 0-1 yesterday and scored a goal themselves the week before.

Manager odds outside the EPL and major clubs are erratic at best.
I got the inside on a League One manager last year and within minutes of a few of us putting £25 on each separately, which was the max bet, it was odds on and then suspended!

The bookies move the odds around to create interest or they'll reduce the odds if someone puts a large bet on. At some point they may stop taking bets on someone making people think it'll be the person they've stopped taking bets on and it could well end up being soneone else. I wouldn't take much interest in the bookies odds unless you want to put a bet on.

See my surprise tip Tim Flowers is on the list at 50/1. Doing a great job at Solihull Moors. Top of the league. Ex-England international should command the respect of the players, lived in the north before..... Wouldn’t be surprised to see his odds shorten, though personally I think it might be Gary Rowett.

This is HTFC remember, so I'm expecting the cheap option. If Hudson can win a couple he will be hard to shift.

I was very impressed how well Paul Warne did with a very weak Rotherham side in the Championship last season. I’m sure he could keep us up.
