Elphick needs to be dropped IMO.
Hogg has had a mare but need experience in the centre over Bacuna.
Chab looks strong going forward, maybe place him in a deeper 10 role see how he gets on?! Either that or swap him for Hogg, move Pritch to the centre and bring in VLP.
We have to stop dicking about defensively and press from the front when possible. Remember when we used to hunt the ball in packs?
For me a lot of our wins in promotion season and first in the prem came from winning the ball high up the pitch after successfully putting pressure on the ball and quickly releasing it from there, where has that gone?
Our shape has been woeful since preseason and, apart from handing possession on a plate to the opposition, seems to be one of the reasons we look so poor defensively.
Every single player looks lethargic and slow currently. It was most evident last night. Can't believe how many balls we should have been getting to was won by a Cardiff player. Couldn't believe it. Some put it down to not enough effort but it looks like fitness problems to me. Bleep test and fitness training all week please Huddy.
Back to basics. Clear the ball if under pressure, we can't pass atm so release the ball down the wing to VLP or Diakhaby to buy us time to move up the pitch and PLAY SIMPLE PASSES FOR FUCK SAKE.
That's what I'd do anyway. Please. Please no more dross, it's so fucking painful to watch at the moment.
