Best eleven we’ve had out all season. Kongolo is finally playing at left centre back and Karlan has been given the free role behind Campbell with serious pace either side.
I can’t help but feel slightly optimistic...

On paper doesn’t look like a bad team, despite the awful transfer windows we’ve had. Hope the new manager is in the stands and recognises the potential. Maybe two strikers on the pitch will give Diakhaby a better return rate.

I can’t help but feel slightly optimistic... I'd be surprised to see Grant play in the hole and Campbell up top. Fraizer replaced Pritchard like for like with 15 mins left against Reading last Saturday. |

Let’s be clear the player we chose wasn’t the issue, he probably is good value for the money we spent on a German 4th-8th tier player It’s like saying bloody hell Jan that dirt cheap steak you bought from the dinner kebab shop tastes crap! Of course it does The more amusing part was some of you thinking we’d signed a player on the verge of the Dortmund squad despite at 24 having only ever played in the German 4-8th tier - have a word! But we spent bugger all - that’s the issue The ridiculous transfer budget and lack of investment / reinvesting of the £25m + transfer fees (and Mooy fee) is 100% down to the Board |

At last a more orthodox 442 or variation of. Luton appear to be playing a diamond formation, with that in mind it should give us opportunity to expose their narrow formation out wide.

Luton have pressed for the early goal to demoralise us. Somehow it hasn't worked, yet (they just had two-now 3 chances whilst I was typing this). It could work in our favour if they tire. Though, we need to get our confidence back and start attacking again. |
