Just seen the goals on Quest....Grant seemed unable to guide it in to an empty net needing help from the defender. Despite us being crap, that's never a pen to Luton, the winner we are just stood around watching him pick his spot. The Kachunga pen appeal looks hopeful at best. Ashton is right, we look desperate at the minute. I've just watched the highlights - what is very obvious about the second goal is that the referee isn't actually keeping up with and watching the play. He keeps looking at Hogg on the floor, putting the whistle to his mouth in what appears to be a decision to stop the play (as he had already done with one head injury and he then did later with another) but then he does nothing about it. For what it's worth, my husband doesn't think their's was a penalty, and says that the Kachunga one should have been a penalty, and he is slightly less biased than us.

Theres is literally no-one to keep at the club management wise. I said it 4 weeks ago, Hodgkinson needs to wipe the Slate with all Deanos cronies... include winter, marsh, hudson back to 23s, Sally from accounts..... the fucking lot of them. Clubs a shambles behind the scenes and in front of the scenes. Let the new director of football who has been ominously fucking silent get recruit the football management team and phil take an overview of the club side. It's a fucking shambles, getting a new manager, changing a few seats, sponsorless shirt aren't even scratching the surface of the fucking mess. I personally would probably sack a player or two, find a spurious reason and see it through. 4 weeks ago you were bigging up Jan Seiwert. Got stuffed by the board, like the fans are now. 10 years of progress undone in 6 games....

I’ve got to say this now. Sick of seeing a minority of Town fans talking about getting rid of the manager , so here’s some points from me having supported the club for 41 years:
1. Did any of us think we would ever play in the Premier league for 1 season , never mind 2?
2. If we go down , Dean & David have earned us the equivalent of 15+ years turnover in 2 years.
3. If we go down and sell our assets and start again, make that 20+ years turnover in 2 years.
4. Think about where we have come from and where we are now, somewhere none of us ever dreamed of .
5. Without Dean & David , this would never have happened, not a single chance.
6. We could still stay up.
7. If we go down, we will be strong enough financially to compete at the the very top and do it again.
8. Find me a better Manager who would come to Huddersfield (let me save you the effort , they don’t exist).
9. David Wagner , LEGEND.
10. Dean Hoyle , LEGEND.
Nobody likes to be bottom of the league and lose football matches (trust me I know) , but look at where we are and how far we have come.
Give David and the lads your support, because the reality is they have taken us to somewhere we couldn’t even dream of!
If you’re suggesting Wagner goes you are a muppet , give your head a shake !

Hmmmmm. What now then Phil?

How did mounie look when he came on yesterday? With the way things have been going I'd be tempted to throw him and grant up top together next game

The last time we won a game (wolves at home) Mounie and Grant started up front together.
What’s baffling is it worked once and has never been tried again!

Yep instead of committing suicide by passing it around our own box, we'd be far better playing more direct and trying to win 2nd balls off Mounie far higher up the pitch.

You could tell Grabara wasn't happy about it but Hudson seems to think it's the only way to play

Not gone through the thread but have the dubious goals panel got involved yet cos there's no way they can give that goal to Grant, it looked more like a clearance til it hit the defender
