Hogg...bit of a club legend, can't fault his workrate and attitude but quality he is not.
Mis placed passes Pointless backward or sideways passes Blaming anyone who makes mistakes apart from himself Can't create anything going forward
Mooy made him look better than he actually is.
Big decision to drop him but for me Chalaboh showed him up today and we need to consider replacing him with a forward looking player and I wonder if we could progress.
Bacuna and O'Brien are probably only contenders however.
I really like Hogg but we need to find something that may work and need goals.

You see Larry, Hoggs not a footballer he's a ball winner that gives it to the footballer to do the business. We ain't got any footballers left now, so its all dis jointed. Nobody wants to get in there and have ago final 3rd. I'm afraid Billing and Mooy will sadly be missed. Before I get pelters on Billing he's doing good at Bournmouth.... So far

He has been very poor this season. Our midfield is like boiling butter, opposition able to just walk through it at ease.
Add to that, every time our central midfielders, particularly Hogg, get the ball they decide to pass it backwards. This just puts our defence in the shit and forces mistakes.
The number of times I have seen Hogg sprint forward in a counter attack, then stop dead and pass it backwards.....

I like hogg... but when he joined the club he couldn't even kick a ball properly. He is a limited defensive midfielder.
Probably should have let him join Sheffield United instead of giving him a new contract.
But he is not scapegoat. He is very good at what he does.

I'd take him out of the starting 11 as I don't think he's playing well at the moment.
O'Brian to replace him

So if we drop Hogg who is going to sit deep and put in the dirty work? I agree he's not playing well but our squad is now so weak (thanks to Phil "we won't sell" Hodgkins) that we don't have the depth to replace a player when his form drops without it being a big risk.
