My kids are old enough to be your father sonny, for all I know one of them could be. Always watch kids coaches who's lads dont play..... doesn't add up. Did you mean to say that? In fact, reading back your previous comments it is obvious that you did mean to say that. With that in mind, I'll respond. You are a fucking narrow-minded, thick twat. You make things up and pass them off as fact. You speak to respected posters with zero respect. You then make ill-judged and patently wrong claims about people who volunteer for the good of a community. What the fuck do you give back other than persistent and boring bullshit?

With so many people distancing themselves from Siewert and what's gone on, have we got a club full of spineless yes men? If the coaches, players, and anyone else for that matter thought it was such a shambles, why not say something? They probably did.

Pre-season was all about presenting the look of a united front, a happy camp... Call it what you want. They kept showing players laughing, playing games but no serious hard training. I honestly believe Siewert went easy on them as he wanted the players on side after initially going in too heavy handed.
I am sure he said when he came how we had to be the fittest team and how he only wanted forward passing... What bullshit that turned out to be.
Hudson has a part to play in the players not being fit enough so he would be better keeping quiet in the hope of keeping his job or a job at HTFC.

I can imagine what would happen if newby coaches went running to the chairman snitching on the gaffer. In all seriousness i think the heirarchy would be well aware what was going on, he's gone. I'm trying to think of a manager/coach that's ever come in and not highlighted lack of fitness as an issue.

Thought we played excellent for the first hour today. Was very much back to the early Wagner days. Yes we didn’t create many clear cut chances but we totally controlled the game. Big improvement compared to earlier games. Schindler’s header. Pritchard's 1-on-1 go in and I think we comfortably win that.
Seemed to lose momentum when Mbenza came on for RVLP. Liked the look of Chalobah, RVLP, Diakhaby today.

Players being unfit, or not fit enough is a massive problem, more so if we want to play the "Wagner way". It was the fitness levels of the players in the promotion season that was that extra little bit that got us over the line in my opinion. Always thought the survival style bootcamp the players went on before the promotion season galvanised the team and the fitness levels allowed us to see out those difficult games and win games late on. The promotion season showed us what can be done with those simple elements, how togetherness and top level fitness can achieve what sometimes even massive amounts of money can't I really can't understand why the club as a whole has let things change so much since then. Is it possible the Premier League experience has actually damaged the club?? Is it even possible that the club collective believed they had made it so no longer needed to put those elements into keeping the momentum going? Maybe we got to be a premier league team before we were ready, before those running the club were ready to run it like a premier league club I'm not pointing fingers and trying to blame any one person but the whole club from top to bottom is, in my opinion responsible for the way things are now

Just seen the interview. What a stunning indictment of Jan Siewert. If i was Phil it would throw up lots of questions. Not least what was Hudsons role in all this ? And john Igo etc etc
BUT lessons learnt and i can hardly believe im saying this. I think mark hudson is going to make a good football manager

www.htafc.com/news/2019/august/hudson-we-blew-up-after-70-minutes/Absolutely hung seiwert out to dry. Bit of a toss of the coin if I want hudson to get it full time... I was impressed with the change in attitude and aplitude for 66 minutes.... but the last 1/3rd was shit show of the highest order. He is saying the right things..... but can he turn it? I'd be tempted to give him the next 3 games and see where we are, but if it stays sour we would be in deep deep deep deep shite. Imagine a professional footballer not been able to run for 95 minutes. What the fuck were they doing preseason? Hoggy apparently said it was the hardest training camp he has ever had? It's a fucking comedy show... big choice huddy who seems really motivated or a potential merry go round manager. I think huddy got a tune out of the players for 60 mins, similar to how Wagner had us at Hillsborough when he took over, but I have a nagging doubt over huddy.... If Hudson gets the job then we are done for this season. The whole coaching set up needs looking at first and foremost, because we lack any nouse how to break teams down, how to use dead ball situations, and basically any plan on how to score goals. Fitness is a poor excuse from Hudson, the first half we looked ok on the fitness front, but still managed to not have one effect on goal at home. The only time he tried to change it was when we went a goal down, straight out of the Wagner manual.

The losing mentality is engrained on everybody at the club, boardroom, management, coaches, players, physio’s,doctors, office staff, fans including myself. It won’t be sorted out this season,we’ll be relegated without a fight again. We all know what will happen next week another defeat. Unfortunately it needs clearing out, every player, every coach from top to bottom. We played quite well today but every person in that ground knew what was going to happen.

It seemed like MH thought a win was inevitable (bit like David Cameron), when the reality was it was still 50/50 & the minimum improvement would have been to keep a clean sheet......sorry Mark for me, it was a really bad sub!

No way would Hudson be getting the job permanently if it was down to me. He’s tarred with the brush of being part of the old regime and must go, along with all the others, when the new manager comes in. By all means leave him in charge for the Luton Town game but after that, 👋

Subbing RVLP yes, he was absolutely spent when he went off. Bringing on Mbenza on the other hand is a joke considering his performance midweek, shouldn't even have been on the bench let alone on the pitch.

What I don't understand, if MH recognised we were knackered, is the fact he made the substitutions he did.
.....& why on earth wasn't Chalobah given a rest?
......and why bring on Mbenza?
For 65 minutes it was better but MH certainly contributed to the final score.
PS Also not sure the first team coach can distance himself from pre-season as much as MH seems to be doing.

If you go back to when Wagner came, we exploded against Middlesbrough and against Sheffield Wednesday. If your looking for impact, the fact that it was so obvious the players weren't fit enough was what reinforced Wagners plight.
Hudson has come in as boss and basically had the exact same impact as Wagner and hes deemed not good enough because its Mark Hudson.
I've woke up this morning thinking he could maybe be the chosen one. Sometimes you need to look under your nose before looking over the fence.
Would we be happy if Hudson got us back to playing in the Wagner way??? Its a tough one because we didn't seem to score many goals and I feel a fan base that wants to win games 3 and 4 nil.

I gave him a wide berth he looked possessed. He sounded furious in his presser.... the players aren't fit enough. The style should mean that your most likely to score when the opposition are exhausted from chasing the ball at 60+ minutes... the counter to that is when the opposition dont try and get the ball, but play the block and then hit you at 70+ minutes with a counter. Readings game plan was spot on. Hudson's was as well, apart from our terrible fitness levels... a fit team walks away with a point or all three. That's the limit of the squad, but if we recruit for now for the way the squad are now, we will see a more pragmatic formation, focus on defensive football and a firefighting effect.

Just watched the highlights of the scum v Stoke one touch football pass to someone on the same side and move maybe we should introduce a fine system to stop our players taking three and four touches in every move it’s all too slow plus Flo is not a footballer we need to put anybody in his place and I mean anybody whoever we get as manager has to double the speed we play UTT oh yes they had shots at goal as well radical ideas

This was after 90 minutes away on Wednesday night. For Hudson to complain they can't play that way for 96 minutes is just pushing the blame away from him as a manager. His job is to make sure they are prepared for the game, which they looked for that first hour, but also to analyse the opposition and have a plan to combat their style. For Reading that is sit deep, with a solid defence, and let the opposition burn themselves out. Their plan worked, what was Mark Hudson's other than we should shoot more often? He had them playing a fast, high pressing game, in hot weather with a gap of 2 days between games and it is their fault for not being fit enough? Bollocks! It has proved to me we need a manager who can properly manage them and get the best out of the what we have. For me Mark Hudson is not that man.

Phil oversaw all of pre season and was very happy with what he was seeing That was something that stuck out to me at the time as well. Guess whatever they were doing probably would look impressive if your only frame of reference was the equivalent in non-league. No doubt I'd have been impressed too since I don't hang around too many professional training camps but I'd like to think I would've had the self-awareness to not go massively bigging it up publicly, that being the case. Yeah he’s not the brightest ain’t Phil. You don’t have to be to be successful in personal injury law.

In the previous interviews I've seen of Hudson he's always to me come across as Mr Nice Guy - in this interview he did not, he was definately pissed off.
The way we played until we blew up was a wholesale improvement from what has been going on; the players seemed to believe in what they were doing and played with a freedom.
But our old old failing of not taking our chances and scoring when we had momentum killed us.
Some question Hudson's compliance in the Siewart era - but do we know what his role was there ? do he actually have input or did he do what he was told as part of his coaching apprenticeship ?
There has in my mind been an all-mighty fuck-up from the very top downwards: no DoF, last summer's window, the process of selling the club, this summer's window - but we are where we are as of right now. Diakhaby at least broke sweat yesterday by chasing back and closing down, but I still think we need to cut our losses on him and Mbenza.
I think Hudson accompanied by enforcer Whitehead might just have something; both are learning their trade, there will undoubtedly be mistakes along the way - but no manager is going to be infallible.
