Anyone else feel like this?
A goal goes into our net and I don't feel, anger, pain, upset I just feel numb.
It's almost like we are so used to a goal coming when it finally does it's almost the inevitable has happened.
I don't feel robbed I don't feel hard done by I have just become so accustomed to failure and losing it is almost like we are waiting and waiting for the killing blow.
The problem I also feel is I have 0 confidence in this squad or chairman to change it round.
Extremely worrying times for me.

That's exactly how I feel! Its been a long time since I felt as deflated as that after a game. This team has got nothing about it.

Having been a fan for 24 years and a season ticket holder to 9; our result has generally dictated my weekend mood.
I stoppped watching mid last season and despite having streams to all games this year (I live overseas) i've barely watched any of the dross.
The club is in a mess from top to bottom.
No leadership from the top; no questions answered about a plan moving forward - or even a transfer strategy.
Shocking management and mid management appointments.
Atrocious transfer dealings.
The results are surely the worst in the country over the last 18 months.
I laugh when we concede now and expect late goals. It reminds me of the year we went down from Lge1; just waiting to lose.
It's a total shamble and worst than where we were 4 years ago.

Not numb just bored, if I didn't go with my mates I'd have stopped going a long time ago. We make the most of a bad situation by taking the piss. Still enjoy the away games as it's a day out with mates, the result is irrelevant to me really.

Unless Phil is a closet goal scorer or can actually make a telling challenge outside the box before the opposition waltz through, or challenge another free header, not sure he is overly involved. The wage bill says this squad HAS to be much better, until Phil and others get the time and the money to change it we will probably have a few more bad days.

I have been a Town fan since 1970 and this is the worst yet. Even in 1972-1973 we won games, we had a striker called Alan Gowling who was scoring regularly and yet were relegated to the old third division for the first time ever.
It looks to me like we may go the whole way down again and I mean right down to the Fourth Division or whatever they call it now. There is just nothing positive about the team at all. I have little confidence that they can turn this around. I hope desperately that I am wrong because if not I see a sad, slow and humiliating decline where, as on Saturday, lying in wait are the clubs we beat to climb to the summit. They will rub our noses in it and then laugh their heads off at us, as indeed the Reading fans were doing on Saturday. We seem not only to lack fitness, confidence and ability but the drive necessary to win games. To be fair we have been in this situation before when Wagner was here but we got through it because of the positivity of players like Kasey Palmer, Mooy and Izzy Brown who I remember came in and showed them how to drive with the ball to the penalty area in his home debut against Port Vale in the FA Cup. There is no sparkle which is rather odd for a side so young.

I do agree with a lot of the comments. Came up Saturday as per the norm. Another 500 mile plus treck. I really thought we played a lot better and pressed more than I have seen for a while. I have watched Town now since before they were promoted to the 1st division, so seen a lot of dross. Most of these players on the whole are a good squad. Alas for whatever reason they are still just not quite there. It does get me down at times knowing we could be getting points on the board but failing constantly. There are worse of teams than us. For me, it's onwards to Luton and give them my full vocal backing. I for one will not stop following my team. Whatever. TTID

I am so numb i have gone from posting 20 times a day to once a week. Flew in for that shambles....seen over 30 games now without a win...tiresome. Think i would prefer L1 with players having to graft for their £50k a year instead of being spoon-fed £500k for not giving a flying. Millionaires for looking good in training and having daft haircuts. Thought it was bad that Gobern stole over a million in wages for sod all....this lot are doing the Great Club Robbery!!

Know what you mean. Expect to lose. That’s not where we should be after two years in the PL and that’s the worry.
PH has done what was needed with Jan, now the critical appointment being made - this is when we hopefully can start to see some shoots of hope!!!

500 days today since i last saw Town win (the famous Tom Ince goal). Whilst i haven't been to every game in that time (done 23 in that time) it's been far too long. Hard to describe the feeling but numb is as good as any, just want to see us a win a game or two and score more than 1 in a game. Losing to Derby and Fulham is one thing, but Reading were poor, very poor and you just never felt we would score.

After watching a few weeks of Championship (EFL) highlights on Quest I've come to realise that the players in our squad, which I thought were decent championship players, actually aren't. Many of them seem miles behind those I see on Quest. 50% of our team would be hard pushed to get into most championship squads - never mind a starting line up. There's no way any new manager will get us into the play offs this season.

Still enjoy the away games as it's a day out with mates, the result is irrelevant to me really. Totally relate to this But my mates are so fed up that last week I was on my own. If that doesn’t change I’ll be having a rethink very soon What a chuffing mess we’ve made of it. For all Deanos ‘we won’t blow our budget ‘. We would have struggled to make a bigger mess of things Personally can’t see a way out of it. New manager needs to be a miracle worker as the players have simply given up Don’t be surprised if in a year or two we end up on Portsmouth’s position or even worse Bolton’s

A lot of this sums up my mood.
I don't care when we concede. Don't really care when we lose. It used to ruin my Saturday night when we lost, now I barely even think about it. Didn't even celebrate Grant's goal against whoever it was because we were never gunna win.
I'm not bored of following Town, and really want the passion at games back, but it's becoming harder and harder as the games pass.
The club have made an absolute mess of our PL era - they've well and truly thrown it away.

I’ve got no cover at work on Saturday so I’ve got to give backword on Luton away. I’m only pissed off because it denies me a good drink and a day out with our lass. Quite relieved some bugger else will have to watch the game instead of me. It’s turgid and predictable. Luton will out fight us and out run us. The powers that be have utterly fucked up the golden opportunity, I’ve gone from proud as fuck to embarrassed.
