Big Dave Wagner - now managing at the 13th largest side in Europe. Should have kept him. or Should have kept him? The same "Dave" Wagner that signed a bumper contract in the Summer of 2018 and then decided he wanted to leave in September 2018? Even if we wanted to keep him, he didn't want to be here, much like most of the dross that are here now, a lot of them were signed by "Dave" himself. The same "Dave" Wagner that left us stranded at the bottom of the table, having not won a game in his previous 10 games and had completely lost the plot by the time of his departure. The David Wagner from 2015-2017 was one of the best managers in the club's history, the David Wagner that followed that period was one of the worst. Anyone else would have been sacked months beforehand and should have been as well.

Harry Bunn has signed for Kilmarnock. Alex Dyer is their manager so he'll know Bunn well.

Andy Butler has been appointed manager of Doncaster Rovers Belles, who coincidently play Town Women on Sunday in the County Cup.

Shalke 04 very impressive in beating Borussia tonight, they play with an energy and intensity that brings back happy memories.

Shalke 04 very impressive in beating Borussia tonight, they play with an energy and intensity that brings back happy memories. Yep. They looked top fit. Is it really a case of him making his teams fitter than everybody else? Apparently, Schalke could count 56 more "sprints" than the BMG team critically acclaimed for their hard-work ethics. From a Town fan's point of view, the interview after the game got quite a bit nostalgic, too. Paraphrasing slightly: When asked whether Schalke can start dreaming a little bit more (per se) after pushing up to 2 points behind Mönchengladbach in the table (still 4 points behind the leaders, Leipzig, mind), his words were "Wir sind keine Träumer, wir sind Malocher" ("We aren't dreamers, we're workers"). Now where have I heard that before?

Happy birthday Mark, you left us with some great memories. As a player you were instrumental in that win at Leeds (Cowling day). Then later as an interim manager you dumped Leicester out of the cup. A great terrier.

Lots of talk in Germany about Michale Hefele returning to Dynamo Dresden. Would be just like him to take a cut in wages to join a relegation battle (Dresden 6 points adrift from safety zone in Bundesliga 2).

Obviously someone wants to buy him. Glad he wasn’t recalled before last week 😉

http://instagram.com/p/B7rFWFxl8fn Still hold a soft spot for him, not that my username is a hint. Would be welcomed back with open arms if it was up to me. Spent £20 million plus on wingers and he remains to this day the best winger we’ve had in recent times. Infuriating at times yes, but the amount of times he got you off your seat it was worth it. Goes down as one my favourite all time players does Rajiv.

Notice Jack Robinson was signed by the Blades this week. Liked him during his loan spell here and he was unfortunate to pick up a cruciate injury with us.
Still bit of an odd one for the Blades, since he hasn't been a consistent starter for Forest.
Forest on the other hand have allegedly picked up £1m for somebody who has warmed the bench in the Championship quite a bit and is out of contract in the summer.
