Sounds like Clarkey enjoyed that one. Nearly 39, approaching 800 career appearances and still going strong. Whatever your opinion of him, you can't argue with his pride and passion.

Watched the first half between Aarhus and Copenhagen. Grabara in goal for Aarhus and Zanka on loan at Copenhagen. It was dire.

Murray Wallace and Scott Malone play the vast majority of the game for Miwaw against Town. Neither makes any kind of a good impression.

Pickford dropped to the bench for Everton today at home to Newcastle. New signing Olsen steps up to the plate. Lössl nowhere to be seen. He might well be rolling in dosh but he's getting feck all game time. Anyone else still think he's a "great" keeper?

I've just read this and thought "Bloody hell, a Town connection to international football management!"
But then I remembered that Wadsworth had taken charge of Congo and Iffy managed Ethiopia.
Any other Town/international management connections?
Edit: I mean POST Town (managed or played). I know about Eoin Hand.

Brest 3-1 up at HT, on BT, big Steve with an assist I miss Steve not being on the bench to come on at the 60 minute mark, much more than Grant not being available for the full 90. Is that weird?

Read on the BBC sports that Danny Drinkwater has put a highlights package together to try promote himself to other clubs. Hasn’t been given a number at Chelsea this season. Always makes me think that if he was that keen he would move somewhere and play for nothing or at least take a pay cut. Even just walk away from his contract. Surely at thirty he realised he needs to be playing

This needed its own thread on the main board. If it's not already there, I'll add it.
