Yet another goal for Downward Spiral Danny Ward!!!! P Another who seems to have improved since Town though, looks much stronger imo. There was nowt wrong with him when he was here. He used to bang a lot of goals in, even when played out wide, the likes of which we haven’t seen for a long time, oh yeah wait, Quaner provided an assist in a match and Mbenza scored from a defensive mistake! We gave him away for nowt and then couldn’t buy him back for 2 mill as he chose Cardiff! Yet another diabolical bit of transfer business!

You could commend him for that, or get angry about how he wasted his talent when with us, with question marks about his refuelling habits allegedly. He's been... He was here years... He's gone.. Not sure why some can't move on and live in the present.. He's scored 10 in 30 months.. His goal tally was hardly better for us.. He whacked a few in for Rotherham when he realised his career was at a Crossroads.. Whoop de do.. He's hardly Jordan Rhodes as the clown Smith would have us believe

We signed worse players in the Clark era. But he wasn't a great signing that's for sure

Currently watching Heaton Stannington v Blyth Spartans, the latter 2-0 up under Nick’s favourite manager...

Massive attendance for Heaton of 509. Sounds like I watched a more entertaining football than watching the Town v Boro one.

Jonas Lossl sat near me last night. I did wonder if he regrets his move ? I know he probably doubled his wages but surely he wants first team football? Incidentally I didn't see anyone even acknowledge him, which I suspect is the main reason he chose to sit there in the first place.

I do go in there (only live down the road) but this was in Bar 10 where obviously he was well acquainted with the land lady. Seen a few Town people in the Cav - Wayne Allison, Mark and Josh Lillis, Terry Mac, Scott Arfield as well as LC...

Spoke to Lee on the phone a couple of times since he left the club, speaks highly of his time at the club and says he's tried to replicate what he had here with other clubs but hasn't been able to do it.
Personally, I don't think he would have ever got us promoted as he couldn't handle the pressure. Helpful guy though with regards to my research, can't slate him for that.

Tommy Miller and Jon Parking talking about their time at Huddersfield under Lee Clark here. Talking about him going absolutely mental and putting the fear into the younger players.

Hes played 38 games in 2 and a half years nearly now................scored a few goals and clearly matured, but lets not kid ourselves he was anything but bang average when we couldn't get out of league 1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Players brought in since might have been worse in some cases............but like norwood he was the ultimate in inconsistency when he was with us and twas time to go.

It's the manager/DoF job to recruit not the owner's surely?
