Great Nephew not Grandson Frank's grandson, Eddie's great nephew He is the son of Andy Gray, and Giorgina. He is one of four brothers.[11] He is also the grandson of Frank Gray, and the great nephew of Eddie Gray, all of whom played for Leeds United and represented Scotland at international level.[3] His brother, Harry, also plays for the Leeds United academy.[ Oh yes my mistake - they were talking about it during the Leeds game, and Eddie was there. Not seen it mentioned yet, but Jon Gorenc Stankovic scored for Sturm Graz at the weekend.
Had a slow start at Town due to getting a nasty injury shortly after signing, but went on to be a decent defender in a mostly struggling team.

Noticed Damian Johnson on the coaching staff at Blackburn last night against Newcastle.
Probably why they lost the penalty shoot out if he was giving them tips going by his effort in 2012!

Thought he was gonna be a superstar for us when I first saw him play. We were spoiled for decent defenders in that first full Wagner season, or would have been if Stankovic hadn't got injured. Of all those signings only Ivan Paurevic was a flop... did we ever get an explanation for why that one went South? |

I'm in Scotland and I was talking to a chap about Warnock earlier, I said he'd prove him wrong. Have you seen what he’s got to work with though? His centre backs are made of bloody chocolate and the midfield haven’t a pair of bollocks between them. I reckon Colin’s shocked at the standard of player up there. Given another season, and a Summer to work the transfer market, he’d have a competitive side of EFL lower league lads ready to run through the proverbial brick walls for him. Won’t happen though, so he’ll be deemed an English failure. Which is a shame really. |

Is he really a "nice bloke"? He was a right bar steward as a player, and I've yet to see any evidence of his "nice guy" status other than loads of people saying it (and only some of them are joking). As I said in another thread, he was just a boring clueless ineffectual dickhead who thought he could wing it with clichés in interviews. If we go down it'll be on him and I won't forgive that easily. |
