Had another stormer today!!! Wont be scoring for at least another 3 games now!!! Bit similar to Mooy then eh? Mooy’s a midfielder.....the best I’ve seen here if I’m honest and is fondly remembered by all here for a series of consistently excellent performances at the highest two levels in England. Ward is a pro footballer.....but there the similarity ends. Not remotely in mooy’s class nor will he ever be. |

Not at all......transfers are a mixed bag. Managers are judged by them at the end of the day. Wagner is the best manager I’ve seen here......but even he got some transfers wrong assuming it was he who sanctioned mbenza, flo, mounie. Don’t know why you are being arsey about my view on a player who disappointed during his time here and who I wouldn’t re-sign even on a free.......opinions - everyone has one fella. Are you Ted Chips in disguise? Or maybe one of his Merry men? Bet you rate players such as Quaner and Matmour as world beaters too? Opinions? You are quoting what I said a week ago. One for our German speakers who may have missed this at the weekend:
Town only mentioned once: Wagner was asked what is easier, "leading Huddersfield to the Premier League" or "bringing the German title to Schalke"...Wagner shrugs his shoulder and the presenter answers his own question: "Well you've already taken Huddersfield to the Premiership"....leaving it open to interpretation whether Schalke can win the title. My personal opionion is that Gasprom will need to pump a lot more money into the club before that dream is realized.
Edit: (For all the Cilla Black type gossip mongers - myself included :-)) Nice little piece featuring his daughter, Lea, who is some kind of sports reporter now in Germany - she's certainly got a lovely smile.
