Went to Bishop Auckland v Pontefract Collieries tonight. Ponte's keeper was Lloyd Allinson who I remember came through our academy. Dont think he ever made it to the 1st team though Came on under Wagner I think for a 20 minute spell last game of season before promotion. Sure someone can confirm.. Played in the final game at home to Brentford 2015/16 season, lost 1-5, released during that summer.

Ravel Morrison just signed for Precision FC in Dubai. My mate did his visa, basically a pub team that play on an artificial pitch.
A pub team with Harry Artur in it too..
A CM that would put ours to shame.

That shovel-faced coont got a well-deserved and comprehensive mid-week win away at a floundering Yorkshire club on Tuesday night.

Lewis O'Brien has won the US Open Cup, alongside Olivier Giroud and Hugo Lloris. Unbelievable how his career (although not his bank balance) has plummeted since leaving Town. Giroud and LLoris both 37 and seeing out their careers in the sun, O'Brien at 25 is at his peak and should at least be playing top end Championship. Not bumming around playing in the MLS.

I wonder how he views his own career? Fantastic maximising of short-term earning potential, or stuck in a backwater due to contractual obligations? For what it's worth, I thought the same as you when I read it too.

Scott High scores the winner for Halifax in their 3-2 home win over Tamworth. Seen three of his games now and he's looked very impressive at that level. Seems like he's grown a couple of inches and bulked out and seems to always want the ball now. L2 beckons in January IMO.

Saw that Rudoni scored for Coventry yesterday, and Kyle Hudlin bagged for Newport in midweek.

Brahima Diarra now at Al Wahda in the UAE Pro League, no doubt picking up a nice wage for a 21 year old whilst wasting away any talent he may have.
Not seen anything about Town receiving compensation

Don't know if this was mentioned previously but 12 days after signing for Exeter, Pat Jones suffered a hamstring injury requiring surgery and is out until probs March onwards next season. Didn't get round to making his debut AFAIK

Sorry to hear about the passing of Steve Bruce's grandson, Madison, at only 4 months old. I know he's not our favourite person but that's horrible and best wishes to him and his family

At the same time as Phil and Michael Senior were at the club there was another player also called Senior but I don’t believe he made the first team. Can anyone remind me what his first name was - Chris maybe?
Edit. Found him, it is indeed Christopher. Turns out he married a 4th cousin once removed of mine called Emma Jayne Kennerdale. Wonder if Robyn Kennerdale at Town is related?

Joe Lolley scores again for Sydney Jason Davidson puts through his own net for Ypres/Eupen. Quality as per usual Went to see Joe Lolley play for Sydney against Auckland FC this afternoon. Still a class act but had to limp off after 30 minutes. I think he could still be an asset in our league. Auckland FC scored in the last minute and won 1-0 . I've got to say the football's far more entertaining than most League one games.

Somehow I doubt we'd be able to persuade him to come back to Yorkshire to play third tier football in winter rather than the Australian summer... and wouldn't want him back after his conduct at Wembley. We gave him his first pro contract and took him to the Premier League, and he took the p*** for a club that terminated his contract a few days later. Loved him as a player but think he's a dickhead.

Don't get this 'gave player x his first ever pro contract' like they owe us one. Sure many on here have issues with their first employer etc. When fit we didn't play him, he wanted to play. Many a game he was fit, the club said he was injured. I was at UCLAN with JL before he signed for town, this came from him personally.

Am I correct in thinking he went into non league and scored a cracker in an FA Cup game on TV (possible highlights only)?

Who on gods earth booed Mustapha Carayol on Saturday when he came on? I'm not one for booing ex-Town players at all, find it really weird that players who've played for our club get a boo, while people who haven't don't. Carayol did also play for Leeds though (I didn't boo him by the way, just throwing it out there that it's quite standard for ex-Leeds to get a booing).
