As I said on the other thread, why? What does moving stuff from 1 place to another actually achieve? There was nothing wrong with having them all in the 1 forum. It just makes it harder to find stuff now.

Do we have to send a PM for every individual thread or can we just request the whole lot are renabled for future discussion and comment?

The irony is that all the rejigging had made me notice the "2017/18 pictures thread", which should probably have been archived due to its age... But contains some brilliant content I've not seen before.
Was that thread always here?!

I think what we could do is have a vote and if the majority decide to get rid of this thread, agree to abide by the results of the poll. Then we will probably delay it for as long as possible, in the meantime changing forum rules to enable us to keep it. In all seriousness, I see that bigdaddy has put an anchor on it, so I'll discuss with him it's usefulness. |

A quick point.
Our 1st game was on 5th August. So there are a load of threads in the pre 19/20 season which were during the 19/20 season.

So I have to ask for permission to resurrect an old thread? So let's say I've seen a story about a player whose thread has been archived, and to avoid the usual complaints about starting a new thread, I have to now ask for permission to have that thread resurrected, then I guess I have to wait for you to resurrect it, then I guess I have to wait to get a notification from you that the thread has been resurrected, by which time I really can't be bothered posting anything. Have I got this all wrong, or is this the way it is now intended to work? |
