No offence to Luton, but if we can't beat them we are truly fucked. We have gone from Premier Team to fucking hopeless in record time.

Right now it’s hard to think of three worse teams in this league than town
We have talented players but they don’t have the stomach to scrap in the league - they don’t earn the right to play - and we stink as a club of failure it’s endemic and runs through the whole place. New faces and fresh enthusiasm untainted by failure needed

Can we organise a friendly against the Bolton kids? We might be able to compete with them!

Been waiting for us to bottom out for a while now, but we just seem to be in freefall.
Never seen anything like it. We’re one of the highest payers in the league and we look completely shot. We could quite easily bomb into League One here.
The new guy has got a fortnight to basically rip it all up and start again. Not ideal.

What you are saying about Luton specifically is daft and also condescending. At the same time, those stats that Specialun quoted are truly abysmal, so it's hard to argue we aren't fucking hopeless and hardly surprising there's a lot of ranting and raving.

8 August 2020. We open the League 1 season with a 4-0 defeat to Salford City, a team who 2 seasons ago were 4 leagues beneath us.

The right new manager coming in can be like a breath of fresh air through the whole club, and boy do we all need that right now! The players, the fans, the board, everyone. Its what Wagner did in 2015. The change was almost instant and dramatic.
Its why Hudson shouldn;t even be considered. Just the same voice from the same face thats already been here years.
Get the right man in we'll finish comfortably half way IMO despite this utter shambles we're currently witnessing. There is the ability and talent in this squad.
Get the wrong man in though and we're fucked.

It was a great day at Wembley, but my god are we paying for it now. Can't buy a bloody draw, never mind a win.

In footballing terms no, even in the relegation from league 1 we won games. I hope the players realise what they are putting the fans through, not a single fucking win to cheer about since I can remember. All these interviews they do, I dont know how they have the nerve, just one of them needs to come out and be truthful, tell it like it is, that they are absolutely embarassed and ashamed to be part of this run

It can get much worse, especially if we employ the wrong manager.
This has got 2003 all over it and we are 3 games away from total meltdown.
How we can let lowe and mooy go and not replace them is truly a result of our recruitment team right now, I'm not a weild the axe kind of guy but I'm beginning to wonder if that might be for the best. Winter and all the coaching staff gone. My fear is phil hasnt played with this kind of money before and it might not end well.

Just had a text from a Rochdale supporting mate, and he's already planning a trip to Huddersfield next season. At least we'll have Pyke back by then, who now seems to be getting into Dale's first team more and more - So won't have to spend too much in the attacking department hopefully.
We'll be lucky to get 15 points before the new year if we carry on like this.

Just listened to Hudson on Radio Leeds with Oggy. I had to pull myself away from the radio as I could feel my eyelids closing as I was starting to nod off. He's hardly an inspiring and enthusiastic talker so I'm starting to understand a little why the players look as though they're nodding off. The sooner a new man is installed the better.

Genuinely concerned now. Whilst we’ve not been spanked this season (well at least not yet) we don’t look as though if we’re in the lead we can kill a game off and when behind you feel we’ll not get back into a game. Where’s the fight, the desire, the pride? What’s happened to my club?

As painful as it is to say my gut feeling is that regardless of a spark a new manager may bring, these players do not have the fight in them anymore. Relegation beckons.

I've missed the excitement of seeing who we would have played if we'd made it to the 3rd round of the FA cup.
