Do they wanna go down again? Get rid off 5/6 of the players on big wages and bring the fees in and start again??

You wouldn't think we'd be wanting to go down. Must be worth it to stay in the Championship for the TV money alone (how much is it nowadays, 5 or 6 million?).
The pressure is certainly on now. One more unfortunate recruitment choice and we won't even be talking about a relegation battle. It'll be over before the new year!

And who on earth is going to pay those 5/6 players what we're paying them and is there the smallest possibility that those 5/6 players will take a pay cut and move on before their contacts run out ? We've tried moving some on (VLP,Quaner) and no-one will touch them with a bargepole. Is Pritchard going to get paid anything like what he's on now, if he moves, even if we tried selling him for HALF what we paid for him ? Same for Mbenza and the rest.

At this moment in time, I don’t think relegation would be a bad thing. Get a lot of the books who are shit and on high wages, totally restructure the club and start again.
I obviously don’t want it to happen, but if it does, it’s not all doom and gloom.

There's examples of clubs who have benefited from it massively Leicester, Wolves, Saints, Norwich But they're all bigger clubs than us. Sheff Utd got stuck there for ages and Sunderland are finding it hard too

Just heard a stoke fan on 606 About nathan jones how clueless he is, Im sure he will be sacked soon.
Even him would do a job at Town.

This season proves that if we are relegated again that it isn’t a given that we would bounce back any time soon. We could be out of the Championship for some time! A second relegation could undo all the progress that DH made dragging us out of the lower reaches

It would be a complete disaster going back to league one. It's a shit league and not an easy one to get out of either. Look how long it took us when we were spending a bit as well.
We don't really no what the financial status of the club is yet although if it's as bad as people think. We could be in deep shit down there financially with big earners we can't get rid of and a severe drop in revenue. Imagine what attendances would drop down to if we went down again. Be the first time in years I wouldn't get a ST.

Or stay in this league with high earners that we may not be able to shift for a while. Do absolutely nothing or go down, get rid of them, restructure the whole set up with a manager, a long term plan from top to bottom. I doubt PH would be here either too. The most catastrophic thing could be in this league, hangers on at the club, money potentially not spent and going god knows where and being financially crippled, akin to Bradford with Geoffrey Richmond and the Carbone scenario. If we get a good manager in, do well and buy in January then obviously it’s a good thing and would be an upturn in fortunes. I’m thinking worst case it wouldn’t be all bad. I don’t want us to go down, I just don’t think in the long term it would be bad.

I can't see to many takers for a set of bums that took us down.

But remember I’m not wanting us to go down, these high earners who are currently shite, could come good under a very good manager. But we shall see

Do they wanna go down again? Get rid off 5/6 of the players on big wages and bring the fees in and start again?? Ok, who would want any of our players atm? I think we should keep them and go for the lowest ever points total in the championship. At least we'd get into the papers again, not just for our hilarious shirt sponsorship stunt.

6 games in and a new manager yet to be appointed but we’ve already been relegated...I assume along with Stoke.

What’s rubbish about it? Another poster has stated, look at the other clubs who were in the Premier League and have benefited from it. Some others that have been in the Premier League have dropped due to bad ownership etc. Nick I have a go at you cos you’re an utter fucking cluster c***
