A purge from top to bottom is needed and i for one am glad it has started with VLP
I actually hope more go before the European deadlines close. I literally do not care who goes now. They have all tarnished whatever reputation they had with perhaps the exception of Schindler.
The only way we can start to rebuild the first team is by getting rid of the entire first team.
They are ridden with loss and negativity as are the coaches and some senior staff. It's like a spreading disease.
I maybe now feel a tad harsh on my reaction to Siewert having seen that him Wagner and now Hudson can get no reaction from these bunch of losers.
That's what they are...plain as day to see.
The board, and I include Dean in this, must take the entire blame for this predicament as it was plain to see last season.
They have failed the fans massively in so many departments.
Even the media team are spreading fake news videos showing how happy they are in training. It really is desperate times.

This would be ok if it was June and we had a budget to bring people in. But the window is closed and we clearly wouldn’t spend any money if it was open. The only way you can be happy with this is if you’re content with us being relegated to League One. The only way we will stay up is by getting in a manager or coach who can get these players to believe, want to play for the club and start winning pronto.
Agree entirely with your comments about the board and the fake news. A total mess!

I agree we need a clear out and the squad needs freshening up but this should have been done in the summer. Players can't leave or come in from Europe after tomorrow and the domestic one has been closed weeks. Our rancid transfer business is coming back to haunt us.

In life it is all about quality over quantity. You can only play 11. Changes should be gradual and only where necessary. You identify your weakest links one by one and upgrade....one by one. We have had a dozen on the books i would not recognise outside the entrance! Sobhi, Sabiri, Mbenza, Diakhaby, Bacuna, Bockhorn, Green, Stankovic. It is like Oscar Gobern in a hall of mirrors. Have that lot got 30 appearances between them? Who are all these non-playing players on well over a million a year? The club is a joke.

Absolutely spot on,from top to bottom it needs clearing out. This unfortunately will take a couple of years so we need to except another relegation, maybe two? But there’s a lot of people stealing a wage and it’s absolutely fucking shameful

The playing system needs throwing out as well.....4 years of possession and the lowest amount of shots ever. Barcelona had 75% possession yesterday...Osasuna 15 shots, Barcelona 8. Like a little cock it is not what you have but what you do with it.

Players can't leave or come in from Europe after tomorrow and the domestic one has been closed weeks. Our rancid transfer business is coming back to haunt us. Problem is you can't make players leave and if they have significant value you can't afford to sack them. Equally, we can't bring players in until they leave because we'd have to pay them. And if there is a risk that if players already here are causing the problem it will affect new players

So just so I understand the solution....
We abandon all of those who currently play or have played in the first team currently? Because ??
They're useless? They don't care? They aren't trying? They are wholly responsible for our current problems?
I genuinely understand the frustration but as you qualify this is a culmination of poor decisions taken over a number of months.
Are there some players who need to move on, and maybe should never have been recruited? Almost certainly there are, however I don't see how ranting at a group of people and telling them that they are a "bunch of losers" is going to result in any sort of improvement.
Do you really think a new manager is going to come in and jettison players and put untried kids in?
For every player that has an attitude that is questionable there are likely to be 3/4 who want to and are trying to turn it round. They are only human and are subject to the same varied emotions that anyone has. Just because they are "professional foorballers" doesn't they are immune to the pressures of any workplace. People fall below the standards they would like to maintain every day.
I was at the game yesterday and didn't see a majority of players who didn't care or didn't try. I saw a group with limited confidence and a lack of cohesion. I also a group who didn't get the rub of the green , and although that happens in football that doesn't help.
Under DW the spirit and belief was outstanding, when things change and that magic dissipates the extra % you get that gets wins in tight games is lost. You're ability to grind a draw when you are under the cosh isn't there. Just because you are being paid good money doesn't mean that the results will come any easier.
I am certain there are players who we need to change. Some because they aren't good enough, some who are in need of a change and perhaps some, in both these categories, who aren't helping the spirit in the squad. It is the new manager's job to address the issues. This is why Hudson probably isn't right for the job right now, he's too close to the history and the culture, although it is not his fault. A complete fresh pair of eyes is required and the mood lifting. In reality those in charge should have been more aware of the challenges that needed to be faced. Winter said in Jan/Feb "not everything is broken ", well I think that statement looks ever more inaccurate now.
I completely agree that things need to change but I don't see how ranting at the players is going to help them. It may make you feel better but I don't know many people who respond to being told they're a "bunch of losers".
It's a tough watch right now and I understand the emotions but the fact is we are stuck in a big hole. It's a hole we need to admit we are in and start to slowly crawl our way out of. Until January we need the majority of this "bunch of losers " so as much as you may think that we are stuck with them. I actually think that labelling the likes of Gabrara, Brown, Schindler, Hogg, Chalobah, Kongolo, Grant, Kachunga, Pritchard as losers is actually a bit disrespectful. Are they playing well? No. Are they not trying/don't care? No...I think they dislike the situation as much as we do. They need help and someone to change the atmosphere and mindset. Give them the chance to be better.
As a whole the club needs to reset and start again. We need to learn from the mistakes. We need a short term plan (if that means getting rid of players who we can afford to lose in the European window the do it) with a new manager to recognise we are in trouble and to do everything to keep us in this league. Longer term we look at what type of club we expect to be, be honest about it (PH needs to be clear about the budget position) and plan around that.
The problem is more deep rooted and the sooner we all acknowledge this the better.
Getting annoyed with players is only to be expected on a week to week basis but it will achieve absolutely nothing. In fact it will only make things worse.

Currently we have neither and we have tried to hang on to something that is no longer there.

Poor quality and garbage decisions. These players are mollycoddled and need a rocket and it's plain to see. Disgraceful levels of effort on show.

It was almost like we never intended on trying to stay there as even DW abandoned the training regime that got us there in the first place. Couple that with the clubs inept transfer business as well as its bonkers manager appointment strategy and you have the perfect shitshow and receipe to plummet down the leagues with players that are simply not good enough or fit enough.
Phil is selling players now, leaving us basically with a few experienced heads and the kids. Pretty soon the experienced heads will be sold off leaving us with just the kids.
I'm pretty sure if fans had known this would happen the club would have been lucky to sell 8000 season tickets.

The player clear out should have took place during the whole summer. Jan, Hudson et al should have all been instantly sacked straight after Southampton. The club should have got rid of as many players as they could but should have actually replaced them. Wouldn't be surprised to see mounie and Kongolo sold before the end of the window for cut prices too. Ridiculous what is happening at town. Totally stinks it's disgusting.

If you under perform at work do you respond to someone telling you that you should be doing better and you're a "loser"? All this without due to any consideration to the environment and context of the workplace? How would you feel if you were sat at your desk and the shareholders came into the office and said "this is useless, you can't even string a sentence together, you loser "! With no account of the circumstances you were working in and the pressures on your mind. Why should a footballer be different ? I am not having a pop at what games you attend , it doesn't make you a less of a fan or care any more/less but I make the point because I see players lacking in confidence. Sure some, by no means all, probably shouldn't be there, if they should ever have been recruited at all, but most do care. The problem isn't going to be resolved by throwing tea cups at the wall and the use of the hair dryer.

Win one lose one I'd get your point, but we cant win one right now!!!! I fully appreciate at times they've not had the rub of the green, but the stats dont lie over 18m...... 5 wins Millions spent on absolute dross and a squad now plummeting in value by the week. Disharmony in the camp. Lack of leadership on and off the pitch. Managers and coaches have come and gone.....the one constant is the players who haven't performed.

But haven't you actually hit the nail on the head? Millions on dross, I don't disagree at all, so if it is dross it is highly unlikely that we will see above the level of dross. I think we have a spine of a team that is perfectly capable at this level. As well documented and I think we all agree, our recruitment decisions have been lousy in the main. The lack of balance in the squad and the addition of players we paid too much for and to is the problem. The culmination is a dressing room that is fractured and dispirited. Add persisting with a coach who was out of his depth, arrogant and by reports used to be pre-disposed to bollocking people regularly (that worked well didn't it?) it leaves you with the utter shambles we are witnessing now. The players are the manifestation of the utter cock up that has been made of pretty much everything on the playing side. The new manager needs to come in, sit down with people with no agenda to defend (to be fair to Hudson I think he sees the problem, knows what he would do, but is probably too close to the past to be successful at the moment) and get the spine of players who can be trusted and want to be better on side. That spine; Gabrara, Schindler, Kongolo, Hogg, Chalobah and Grant (I personally think all of those care) need players around and a system that works for the abilities available. Anyone not on the page is out at the earliest opportunity, if we take a hit financially so be it. As fans it's bloody awful, but it's what we've got. Those in charge need to show leadership and stop trying to polish the turd created but accept it is a mess and start to put it right The players who do want to be better are as much victims of the poor decisions than anyone. It's nowhere near as simple as saying that the players aren't trying.

The playing system needs throwing out as well.....4 years of possession and the lowest amount of shots ever. Barcelona had 75% possession yesterday...Osasuna 15 shots, Barcelona 8. Like a little cock it is not what you have but what you do with it. Do you say that from experience Oti? 😁

Whilst you make some valid points, why are they short of confidence?! Its because collectively they couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo, have won 5 in 58, no sat wins for nearly 18m etc. We've had 3 mgrs and none of them can get a tune out of this lot. Put simply they aren't good enough - they are happy to pick up good money, arse around on social media and talk repeatedly about quality in the squad etc etc etc. Isnt it about time they delivered for once?! It's nowhere near as simple as saying that the players aren't trying. I’m not saying they aren’t trying......I’m saying they aren’t very good at this level, despite some having experience of doing well before in this league. Chalobah and grabara aren’t ours so they can’t be a long term spine..........Schindler and Kongolo look like men shot of confidence and in need of a new challenge. Hogg - wouldn’t be playing if I was in charge. Been hopeless all season and just berates others right now. It may change but he’s been poor for a long time now. If that spine stays then I fear for us staying up.....I really do. Even worse right now are the fringe lads.........we’ve recruited sobhi, mbenza, diakhaby, Durm, brown, koroma, bockhorn, elphick in the last 3 windows and none of em can get a game, or have already left! Set against a backdrop of a team which has won 5 in nearly 60 that’s not poor, that is simply abysmal.

Get on Gillingham 5-0 at 25/1 was the tip. Did he get on? Did he Hell as like.

I meant what to do with a little cock 🙈🤣 Afflicted with this myself i have always drawn attention to my humongous balls. Never show your weapon until you are ready to use it....gives the enemy an advantage. Tongue exercises may come in useful. Avoid additions that make you appear bigger....you will be perceived as weird and weak. A woman can have a road cone in her bedside drawer and that's OK. If you have so much as a flavoured condom you are, as a man, considered a freak. So, keep the Fleshlight/blow-up/anal beads firmly in the darkest recesses of the loft. Finally, remove excess hair around the shaft...little fellas hide in the jungle.
