Traffic is easier to get home after games The empty white seats will look better than empty red ones on TV We have only lost every game we have lost by a goalHodgkinson can start his road to recovery by making a good appointment It’s a new month Except Reading beat us by 2. Very true - I remove that!

Yes.
Grabara looks a solid keeper.
Chalobah has been good.
(Tin Hat on) Diakhaby is showing greater signs of potential. Pace to burn, on occasions makes defenders look daft and has started to show a few signs of effort. Decent coaching might (if he listens) make him into a player. It's not his fault the amount we paid for him.
Brown has been OK at left back.
Mounie (in his cameo) looked lean, quick and interested. If we can keep hinm that way we have a very good championship striker (although those who oppose this view TBF have a lot of evidence in their favour).
Flo has been less poor and (I think) stopped falling over.
With a decent managerial appointment we should stay up.
PS .....alternatively if PH sells Kongolo, Schindler & Mounie tomorrow we're toast.

Afternoon peeps Can anyone anywhere give me on ounce of positivity the club is going in at all? It's so depressive at the moment I need something to look forward to. If potless appoints a rowett carvahal or parkinson that will be the final nail in the coffin for us this season. Yes it’s going to easier to find a parking spot on great northern street and the queues in the magic rock will be smaller. Every cloud my friend 😊

We haven't been steamrollered yet which gives me a glimmer of hope a decent manager with 1 or 2 free transfers to balance the squad could steer us up the league. Looking for a positive out of a mountain of shite

If Mounie goes for a loan where we don't have to pay his wages or a permanent deal for above £5m then I'd be happy. People need to start thinking in terms of sunk costs rather than profit or loss on disgruntled players. In the spirit of this thread... Kongolo is a top player and Flo has improved hugely going forward, although his defensive skills still leave a lot to be desired.

Our striker is 1 goal behind the divisions top scorers.......we couldn't even score last season!
Just need to stop letting so many in!

We haven't been steamrollered yet ... and we haven't played anyone in the current top 5 yet either!

My take on the positives is that we have only played 6 games and hopefully with the introduction of a new manager we can turn this season around. We do have some decent players , we are just crying out for some organisation / direction and a little confidence. If the new manager is installed this week, it will be a positive step.

One positive is we don’t have a game for a few weeks.

If potless appoints a rowett carvahal or parkinson that will be the final nail in the coffin for us this season. I'm struggling to see the problem with Rowett. Ok, he was shit at Stoke, but he didn't get that job by having a crap CV beforehand. Carvalhal? Took over Swansea when they were dead and buried then at one stage looked like they would stay up, with a few notable results along the way. Not my choice, and I can't say the appointment would fill me with optimism but whoever gets the gig should be given a chance to turn this shit show around. Parkinson? Yeah, he can get fucked.

The positive for me is that we're this shite at the beginning of the season where we can address the issues at hand. A new gaffer will certainly change things.

We made Fulham look like Real Madrid. Fulham have by far the best squad in this division. When we got promoted they smashed us twice, and I’d say they have a much better side now.

Getting rid of Siewert early in the season. The first 70 mins of the Reading game. Chalobah and Grant. Still think PH has some time to turn things around - he’s not been in the hot seat long enough to get all the flak but we need a manager announcement today to make the most of the break.

Positives for me:
Phil has had a serious baptism of fire and will have learnt a lifetime of lessons in a matter of weeks. He will understand far better going forward and as such will make better decisions. We might not always agree but I think they will be more thought through.
Once the european window closes there is no way out so all who remain need to pull together and fight for the club and most importantly it’s fans.
We will have a new manager with new ideas, someone for us all to rally around. He will be a better manager than Jan Siewert.
When January does come we will know far better who has the character and skill levels we require. Players should have been scouted and funds should be available. I don’t expect millions but I expect enough to make sure we stay up.
We won’t be relegated, unfortunately we will need to look to next season for real progress.
All my opinion, no facts to support it. 👍😁
