I think it's becoming increasingly clear that the board are wanting to wipe the slate clean and get rid of as many deadwood / bad attitude players as possible. I don't think I've ever seen a clear out as vast as the one we seem to be crusading for. However, if this truly is the plan then surely the board aren't so naive to believe that the current squad will do anything but relegate themselves. We are paper thin in numbers and quality and half our starting XI now are there for convenience rather than genuinely being there on merit. With this in mind I can only see one thing they are aiming for - the Free Agent Market. I'm not sure how up to date this is but... www.transfermarkt.co.uk/statistik/vertragslosespieler?utm_campaign=DonanimHaber&utm_medium=referral&utm_source=DonanimHaberLooking through this there are actually some big names that we could go for without splashing the cash. Although not very realistic, I look at that list and what our squad requirements are (for me - LB, RB, LW, RW, CAM, CM), and think we could get in some pretty good players on one or two year contracts that would bridge the gap needed to get the youth players up to scratch. I mean if push comes to shove we could even have these players on a monthly contract and state that if they advertise themselves well enough by playing good football then we wouldn't get in their way of leaving. We literally have nothing to lose. Thoughts?

I don’t believe that we can possibly have so many bad attitude players. This is just a smokescreen to justify the ridiculous policy of getting rid of as many players as possible in the shortest time scale possible.

Absolutely no chance that we will be signing anyone. We are stuck with the group we have. It’s going to be one hell of a job for the new manager to instil some confidence and get them playing with some cohesion.
