He would be brilliant for us on a pay as you play basis Chips. Whether he accept that type of deal is another matter From what I heard last season him and his agent couldn't wait for him to get out Sounded like one of the bad eggs deano said we had. Fair enough, didn't know that |

I always liked Ben Marshall who at one time looked set to go on to bigger things and some of his goals were top notch.
However, having looked at his career in full he’s become a bit too nomadic and had his 4 year contract at Norwich terminated in July 2019 after only 13 months and 4 games. Admittedly, Norwich we’re flying last year and there would’ve been stiff competition but these are the things that worry you when you’re looking for people to dig you out of a relegation form type hole.

I said on another thread, one out one in apparently and the best fit for the recent one is Bakary Sako. Knows this league, powerful and can score a goal or two. Great player and I’d be trying him out of the whole list. 37 games in 4 years (wiki) would be a massive concern edit, 3 years, but still And he would still be a site better than every winger we have here by a mile. |

At this point, numbers have to be the name of the game! The number of players (Mooy, Jorgenson, Billing, VLP, even Sabiri) that have left on deadline day or thereabouts is scandalous! To my knowledge, only Billing was replaced (TC).
We're not a million miles away from a Bolton situation with our threadbare squad - Phil, you still need to put 18 players in the squad week in, week out!!! A few injuries and we're going to be searching through the youth team (more so than we already are). No disrespect to our youth team or young players in general, but there is a reason why Bolton are shipping 5 goals a game.
To not dip into the free transfer market is pathetic. Chairman has to take responsibility for this mess!

Okazaki - Malaga can’t fit him into their wage structure - if only we could! I’d take him - I was always impressed when he played for Leicester.
