Have you got a fat arse Oti? Not a complaint that has crossed my mind. Dread to think what your view of the likes of Old Trafford or QPR is if the seats aren't big enough for you at Town.

I have a padded seat in my private box....not an issue. Leg-room is poor...Taylor report asked for a maximum 13 seats to an exit....thats exactly what Town did.

Back of the seat in front bangs right in to the area below your knee.

"....- the seat tread depths measure 800mm all round, more generous than any other stadium so far built in Britain". My lads 6 foot 5 and has no problems whatsoever at the Mac. I think you're (someway) smaller than that (is the padding so you can see above the bloke in front?). I'm 5 foot 10.5 and struggle at Old Trafford, Loftus Road (& Luton) amongst others.

I dont think there is enough room, its uncomfortable, people cant pass if you are sat. And i dont give a FUCK what other clubs have. Dont throw brickbats you simple-minded twat. 15 years on here and it is now a chimps tea-party.

Yes it is Otium, and so are a lot of grounds, to be fair the John Smiths is one of the better ones. Having experienced Luton for the first time since seats were installed i have to say it's one of the worst, as regards the concourse.....

You're right, from memory probably the best modern stadium seats I've experienced were MK Dons. Put Man U to shame.

I’m 6’4 and have no problem with leg room at our ground. Some away grounds I’ve been to I have the underneath of my knees pressed against the seat in front, or try for an aisle seat to cope.

Emirates, Arsenal have the same seats, different colour, technically as it was built before MK I suppose that should be the other way around. Spurs was also good, the away section even had barriers to lean on.

There's an awful lot to not like about MK Dons, especially if you're a Wimbledon fan but I have to say I think the ground is brilliant. At the other end of the scale there's a lot of dire redeveloped grounds with truly dreadful away ends, just in Yorkshire there's Beeston, Sheff Weds and Bradford all worth a special mention, then in the PL, Everton and Burnley for example and in the Championship the likes of QPR and Luton.

Great read and thanks for posting. Had me brimming with pride. No doubt when it opened, when we went in for the first game, it took your breath away just how different it was. The novelty has worn over the years I suppose. But anyone who’s still saying there’s no atmosphere and it needs the corners filling in can’t have been to many games in recent years. At times it’s been nothing short of electric and far louder than stadiums with 2, nearly 3, times as many folk in. I for one am proud of it still.

Ewood Park is terrible for space, after a game in their away end you come out walking like John Wayne with piles.

The one I remember most was sitting in the upper tier of the two tier stand behind the goal at Griffin Park, Brentford. I'm no giant at 5'9, but god those seats were knee crunchingly tight ! Agree about Old Trafford - sitting in the North Stand lower for the play off final was very uncomfortable (disregarding the game itself !).

Any implications for Town if Fartown are relegated tonight?
