I have it on good authority that the appointment is being delayed from official confirmation until such time as a forwarding address can be obtained in order to dispatch a telegram to ksnemk2 Cheeky. As it happens I would expect no less 😀but currently we have the best Internet and stable connection that we have had for weeks lol x |

I wonder if his brother will come with him. Why wouldn't he? They're like trousers and scissors - they come as a pair! So in Mansfield you get a pair of scissors when you buy some trousers? DIY alterations? You need to go to a better tailor mate.  |

The delay is because Paddy Power are desperately trying to come up with some spoof to go along with it.

Danny cowley is a great appointment.
I really think Mounie is going to thrive under this man, not because he's a long ball manager. He just likes to get plenty of balls into the box and his team scores so many goals from corners.

Happy with the appointment - everything I wanted - young, hungry, aggressive and a clear identity and way of playing.
Lincoln - feel for them, we've had players and managers poached - so go easy on any abuse to Lincoln, no need for it, their fans will just want to vent like we would do.
Good, solid regional club who have done amazing - beating us in the cup just one more piece of evidence.
Hopefully things work out for them - people moving on is just part of the football life.

I assume they refer to Championship, league one and league two but these are hardly the bottom three divisions. You'd think a Lincoln fan would be well aware there is football beyond league two... |

They keep banging on about how he's only moving up four league places... not to mention that around 100 years ago we won promotion to the top flight for the first time, reached our first FA Cup final, and a couple of years later began a period of success that those inbred spud-miners can only dream of. Hopefully the Cowleys can get something out of what is an expensive bunch of players with varying levels of talent. We may need to be patient but he seems to like to get balls in the box (oo-er missus!) and attack in numbers. They might even teach big Coll how to head the damn thing! |
