Hopefully the Cowley appointment gets announced soon. I really believe these two could flourish under him. Mounie is a good player and he’s shown this in glimpses in his 2 and a bit years at the club but has always played as a lone striker. Grant also said he is more comfortable with a big man along side him as his hold up play isn’t good enough. Mounie could be like Lincoln’s John akinde. Also Reece brown scored twice against Lincoln for forest green last season and could be given a chance to shine under as after who knows what he’s capable of doing. I think he deserves a chance instead of pritchard as for me he hasn’t delivered enough since he been here and certainly not what we paid for him. UTT hopefully this appointment is the start of something great again

Imagine all the lads will get chance to prove their worth on the training pitch and then in games - up to all of them to show what they have. Fresh start for all - be interesting to see who shines.....!! UTT

Pritchard will excell under these 2 imo. Based on how well they got Jack Payne playing as a 10 in a short space of time we should have high hopes for Pritchard.

If Mounie was a good player, he'd have shown more than glimpses of it over the past 2 1/2 years. Being the lone striker doesn;t stop you trapping a ball, holding it up, moving away from your marker, getting yourself in goalscoring positions and fighting for it.
One of the things thats come out when reading about the Cowleys is how they like players with the right attitude. Players who always give 100% effort and commitment. Unless he has a complete change in attitude I can only see Mounie being even more outcast, as the Cowleys won;t stand for his usual half assed , bone idle performances.
The same goes for the other lazy flop from Montpellier too.

He doesn;t score many because he doesn;t want to score enough. It would mean him making runs to lose his marker and he isn;t prepared/ interested enough to do that.

Whilst I'd struggle to argue with the thrust of your post, surely you thought Mounie looked leaner and keener than he has for a long time at Luton - didn't you? We 100% looked better when he came on. Grant will look better in a two and Mounie's obvious attributes might suit the Cowley's style. HAS to be given a chance IMHO. PS They might also be the types who can work work on Diakhaby's positional sense and general fitness. There is a player in there I'm sure (despite the evidence to the contrary). Pace to burn, can go past players like they aren't there and has producuced some decent balls. PPS Wouldn't lose sleep if I never saw Mbenza in the shirt again.

Didn't see any of the Luton game so can't comment. He'll be given a chance because hes here until january at least, and probably well after that too. Lots of chances to impress in training and if or when he gets game time. I just think if he puts the same amount of effort and commitment he has over the past 18 months into games now then I dont think the Cowleys will put up with it. He'll be nowhere near the team.

If he shows the pace he showed when scarpering down the tunnel at Luton he'll once again be a first team regular

i really hope that the bros can sort out sone of the current bad attitudes. We really need them to or we carry on to christmas with a very weak squad. I reckon 4 or 5 stepping up under proper leadership and we could begin to turn the tide. That starts with Mounie.
Anyone watching him sitting the bench chatting to kachunga at luton during the half time break will probably think it will take a miracle

I'd give Mbenza a go as a #10, he's strong, he can pick a pass better than any of our midfielders and he has a thunderbolt of a shot. He couldn't be worse there than the gnome has been

I'm sure it'll be a fresh start for every player at the club. It's upto them if they want to take the opportunity or not.
