All I can say its very kind of the massive Wednesday to allow us to proceed with our manager of choice. Apparently they stopped the deal to check Cowley out for themselves before deciding they didn't want him, and allowed him to make the "small step up" to us.

It's hard to gauge where Wednesday are at the moment because they've yet to face any of the top sides in the division. Reading, Luton, Barnsley, QPR & Millwall were all tipped to be bottom half/relegation threatened teams & Preston, although a solid championship side, aren't one of the top teams. That coupled with them bringing in a new manager it's a tough one to call.
I'll sit on the fence & say score draw.

The Cowleys have a big job on their hands turning the squad around mentally so I won't be expecting a win straight off the bat. Had they had the full two weeks then maybe..
I'd be happy with a draw and push on from there
