Build a team from the back, old but true

This is where the Cowley's need to start.

All the great teams have been built from a solid defense. We need to sort this first. Flo was very poor as we all saw but Elphick (regardless of if he is having to deal with having Flo to his right) is looking hesitate and out of form.
While our best centreback, Kongolo is being played as an average leftback.

I'd drop Elphick and put Schindler &Kongolo together in the centre. Both Duhaney and Jaden Brownlooked good in the last EDT game. Bacuna also showed he god do a decent job at rightback if needed untill January.

My back 4 would be:

Duhaney/Bacuna---Schindler----Kongolo---Brown.

Hogg is looking poor (always felt it depends who is playing with/around Hogg), I'd still keep him as the DCM but Stankovic showed he could play well there.

You always build from the back, if you don't concede you don't lose games it is really that simple!.

I don't think we should be picking players on supposed ability right now. If we're going to get out of this we need 11 players on the pitch who are going to bust a gut to make it happen. Whether we've got 11 in our entire squad like that is open to debate but you can't keep picking players who aren't giving it 100%

I don't particularly rate Kachunga but you know you'll always get max effort from him. Same with Quaner to be fair. I think you can also probably say the same for a lot of the younger lads desperate to make their way in the game like Brown.
