It’s simple business maths. Sell 12000 season tickets at £400 each or 18000 at £250. 12000 clients walking around the ground buying lottery, tops, drinks or 18000? It isn’t £250 is it it’s £200 after vat and how many are kids for £100. So we sell 16,000 say £175 = £2.8m = Mooys wages next year. My issue was actually more the 6000 who bought cheap cards last season to watch Man Utd & Liverpool. Why do you have an issue with people wanting to watch Man Utd and Liverpool?

Wonder if it would have been cheaper to not get a season ticket... If things don't get any better soon then you will be right. I've already missed Reading (too hot) and Wednesday (still in bed) and missing Millwall (holiday) so looking like a bad buy for me already

For similar reasons.

up by 50% 🤣🤣🤣 one of the thousands on the waiting list can have my seat then I agree with you pal, however maybe you’d be happy to renew at £300 if you’d paid that in the premiership. IF we get relegated the TV money will run out (ignoring the fact £49m is already assigned to pay back DH) then our primary revenue will be Gate receipts which will be probably less than £2m. I'm not sure if I want to give the club any more money if their going to spunk it on things like Mbenza and Diakhaby,

Having sat in that god awful stand for one game last season I can honestly say that, regardless of the quality entertainment or not, I wouldn't accept 3 free tickets. I wouldn't spend a penny to sit in there. I would hope not - the bogs are just around the corner

Mind you that pays out winnings, so that won't go down well either.

While it's commendable the club doing this offer and making football affordable. You do have to question the timing If the idea is to get some potential fans down to try it out in the hope they'll like it and want to come back it's highly likely to struggle The simple fact is, the North stand lower going back before our jaunt in the Premier League has had cheap offers for years. I understand that but my point is that’s hard going right now - one win in ten months etc They can’t run this offer all the time and personably I just think they’d be better keeping this up their sleeve until we’ve turned the corner and the atmosphere is a little more upbeat - that will give the better chance of impressing and winning some potential floating fans That said the best offer was that friends for a fiver one that was the norm with season tickets back in the 90s

It has to happen eventually, one thing I do know is you cannot guarantee results at any time.
