Any Gibraltar based town fans? Just moved out here for work - wondering if there’s anyone kicking around to watch the games in a pub with? Cheers

Used to work there in the late 70s, not much use to you that mind. Doesn’t look to be a right lot to do here. Got here at 1pm and already walked round the whole country.

There's a Morrison supermarket just after the border and a football pitch, think it's the Red Imps and they beat a Celtic in the first leg in a European tie recently, probably the only one in the world with an airport runway through the middle. We spent the day there on the actual day of the Brexit vote, Gibraltar voted 99.6% remain, mainly due to the bad memories when Spain used to restrict access, found it an enjoyable day trip to be honest, I'm sure you'll find a pub to watch the games and at least one Town fan to drown your sorrows with.

Yeah my hotel is just next to the football pitch and I’ll be working in an office just next to Morrison’s. I’m moving to Spain on Saturday so hopefully it’ll be a bit more interesting the other side of the border!

I think there were a few Town fans, but they've recently headed off on an oil tanker somewhere...

Lots of Town fans on Gibraltar at the betting companies based there....made a fortune out of us. A few years ago, when I had Sky TV, I phoned their call centre in Dunfermline and ended up talking to a pleasant young chap, a local, who had developed a soft spot for Town on the back of winning a "load" of bets backing Town to win with Jordan Rhodes to score. Funnily enough I remembered him the other day and wondered if he'd switched to Town not to score and lose?

His real name was Kuldip and he was actually in Bangalore....they go on courses for that crap. Bet he signed you up for more channels
