O’Brien could count himself unlucky but I’ve picked a team who wants to look to play forward. I was also tempted to give Schofield a run but Grabara holds his place for now.

I can only ever remember 2 wins, one when Boothy scored and another 2-0 win aside from that I don't recall any other wins there. Edit: no you're right the PL win and a 1-0 when Facey scored I seem to remember now. |

Too soon for them to work magic. I expect we will see some variation in squad and approach to the game - they need more time to get back to basics and work their best formation and starting lineup.
Want to see more (any) passion and commitment from the players - results will come with right mindset.

Really can’t see where any wins are coming from before January. And by then it may be too late Edit.....will be too late. I’m so down at the moment I can’t actually summon any confidence. The Wednesday game sapped it all out. It was painfully obvious we look completely devoid of anything resembling a football team. Confidence is shot, grabara not claiming a ball in his own six yard area making kongolo out a last ditch clearance under pressure when there was non to begin with. No closing down of players around our area they had countless time to get a shit away. Flos “header” to their keeper unbelievable like he had no idea what to do. I’ve heard he was laying it on for Campbell but he was six yards out put yer head through it for Christ sake. Can’t beat the first man at crossing. Grant on the wing and standing next to corner takers? Have I missed oat? |

The win in the PL sealed a double as well, imagine that beating the same team home and away in a PL fixture, sounds barely belivable today. We do have a decent record vs Baggies, not as good as their friends down the road though. |

Oh what to do? So many formations, so many tactics. So many still playing Flo and/Eplhick. For me we have to find a way of being hard to beat to start with. Yes its going to be tiresome but the rebuild has to be in stages. Get the fight back first. Then build on the creativity. A point away to WBA would be a good point so i would go with.....

It's not our worse start, that was 90/91, 4 consecutive defeats although 2 of those were LC ties, incidentally in the first 5 games of that season Bolton were opponents 3 times. |

We could get something out of the game without doubt, but for me the new gaffer has to just start from scratch and pick a team that might not have any so called good players in it, but one that can do a job. It might not be pretty, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.
