Don't call me pal you patronising tit, so what is the answer then? I’ve never understood why people are offended by ‘pal’ or ‘mate’. See it a lot on here. I’ve actually deleted it from many posts so not to cause offence. I don’t see the term as derogatory, I suppose I’m in a minority.
Bugger me,, The easily offended wouldn't last two minutes in the pubs and clubs I booze in, What the fook is wrong with folk nowadays.

Sorry pal but my point still stands. Running up hills is not the answer. Cristiano Ronaldo moved to Lisbon when he was twelve so forget the Madeiran hills!! Definitely happened under Buxton and I seem to recall they used to give each other piggy backs too. Not sure if this is an old wives tale but I was once told the players knew what to expect under Buxton if they lost on a Saturday come Monday morning, runs up & down the steps of the main terrace. I’d pay good money to see some of our current crop doing that . and it was a fkn big terrace. |
