Do you think the FA have had a word with him about this? Up to the Millwall match his announcements always delayed the kick-off. At the Millwall match however (and for the first time ever) he gave out the Millwall team before the teams came out. I think also that at a recent Sky televised match the Sky Director had to manhandle him off the pitch as he was giving out the Town team - so I guess he has had his wrists slapped! If he has - I’m pleased because I’m easily irritated!

Yeah stop the crap music. It's difficult to talk to your mates before kick off because of it. Why do we need it?

Calm down FFS. We've only won one game and already the players are off the hook and the pitch announcer is the new scapegoat.
Actually hope we get battered today so folk can focus their anguish/hysteria back on the folk who get paid a fortune to underperform week in, week out.
Leave tog alone ya bastuds

Tog seems a great chap and does a stellar job...apart from his timing of team announcements. He is ALWAYS rushing names as the teams are kicking off, it’s stupid really. Come on Tog, I know you read/post on here, sort your timing out lad.

At least he is giving Gemma's box a well-deserved sabbatical.

It does my Dad's head in.
He seems to be even later when it's a game being broadcast on English TV.

Agreed but .... it always looks like he’s surprised by the teams coming out , as if they are early and he’s on time , he then has to rush last 2-3 names and run off as they kicking off and another thing ..... I miss running round the broom at half time 😉

Surely they must have a rule about it somewhere?

He seems to have lost his half-time magic a bit, relying more on the music, delayed start. But maybe with a few wins the old Tog will come out and amuse us again.

Can please anyone answer this. Who chooses the music as it comes across as someone who just plays what he likes.

Sounds like seagulls getting strangled. Tog, get off his case, remember that awful, awful weasel before him.

I like him, personally prefer dizzy penalties to a player interview but I could be on my own with that.

He's a top bloke, please don't think he turns up at 2:50pm and announces the team, he doesn't. The guy is busy on match days milling between the hospitality and the pitch. The one thing I do miss though is him abusing the away fans, come on Rambo

They need to sort the speakers out in the Kilmer Bank Stand. Can hardly make out what’s been said last few matches!

Pretty sure he split the team announcements at the Sheffield Wednesday game too. The Reading game before that he was still reading out Town names when the whistle had gone and the game had started which is probably why he's started splitting them.
