Diakhaby & Kongolo also unavailable for selection with a view to being moved on.
We spent nigh on £40m on these chaps, we’ll be doing well to recoup half of that but it’s clear we have to cut our losses and move on.

According to the DM we are interested in signing Tommy Smith (the other one)centre back playing in Boston.USA
Was at Ipswich and one or two Championship Clubs would be interested too.

Never mind draw anything like 20m Ffs. That’s probably equivalent to about ten years gate receipts. What a bloody mess

Makes sense, he fits the proper man criteria they keep talking about Highly regarded at Ipswich who also want him back

Means it may actually cost us to get rid rather than taking a profit on the sale

Might as well if we're not going to get anything in terms of fees for them.

If you told me two years in the premier league and our first year back in the Championship we'd be linked with a centre-half who has been released from the MLS I'd think it was some kind of bad dream. Remember him being absolute bobbins for Ipswich also.

The club has no choice but to cut their losses on these lot & clear the decks.
Mooy will fetch a decent fee. Kongolo, Diakhaby, Mounie & Mbenza we'll take a heavy hit on but should fetch enough in transfer fees & getting their wages off the books to help the Cowleys reshape the squad in January, providing they can be moved on.
Monaco & Montpelier must be laughing their cocks off!!

Straight out of a text book, would love to live in that ideal world he lives in. Show me one sports club or business or organisation where everyone loves, likes and respects each other and I'll show you a post where Nick has been sensible, mature and coherent

Happy enough to see Brockhorn Bokhorn Bronkhorn Bockhorn go; never saw him play but he's yet another that a high percentage on here cannot spell. Let's get Smith in!

Hope this means we can get a lot of them out very early in January and doesn't drag on for too long. Need fresh faces in, ASAP.

We had about 5 months to prep for this summer
Campbell and Simpson arrived after the window closed so we made 4 permanent signings before the summer transfer window closed - Elphick (free), Bockhorn (about £300k), Brown (about £150k) and Koroma (about £500k)
Two (who cost a fee) are now surplus to requirements after 5 months and zero league apperances
At least they lasted longer than Colin Bell though!
And this after the mistakes made with transfers in 2018
What. A. Shambles.

On a more light hearted note, if we sign Tommy Smith he would be the 3rd Town player I've seen with that name, can anybody beat that ?
