A famous woman years after the event. Blew the lot. Immortalised on the screen and also on the cover of a Smiths single Read her life story, she used to work at Fox's Biscuits in Batley and literally smoked other people's cast off cig butt's as she couldn't afford to buy her own. I once saw her in the pub in Wakey on a Saturday night, it was after she'd spent all her winnings but before she found religion. I suppose that anyone who remembers her as a famous pool's winner will also remember buying a Green un for the scores on a Saturday and mutter whose he think he is, Stirling Moss? at a speeding car? I remember the excellent tv play that was on when I was a kid, "Spend, Spend, Spend". I seem to remember her husband was furious about it because it portrayed him as a bit of a retard. |

If we do get rid of Mbenza, in addition to Flo, this will be great business on deadline day. If we don't the window has still been good for us.

Look forward to seeing Andy King get to full fitness. Ok apart from the fact -a winger was probably one of our top two priorities (with LB) -And players we wanted to get rid of have only gone out on loan (kicking the can down the road a little) though I understand other team’s being reluctant to take them on given their attitude of late. Worried about our lack of goalkeeping options |

I make it 19 senior players who can play this season (one of whom is out for a month). It seems Koroma is now out of the picture.
We have 5 centre mids for 2 spots, yet just 1 winger. Unless we get a winger in tonight I don't see how it can be classed as a successful window. We know we've needed 2 since the Bristol game and for the 3rd or 4th window running totally failed on that front.
We're in a dog fight at the bottom and our squad is still very thin.

We had one called Lolley! Nobody gave a shit when he left including myself as then, we didnt think he was good enough for us. Fairplay to the lad hes gone on to do well and proved most of us wrong. Dont hold that one against the club though. |

Would we have let flo go of didn’t have someone coming in?maybe to get wages off books however hes been one every squad on matchdays and although never outstanding recently has improved and is fairly versatile that’s what I’m clinging onto anyway.sad but true

Oddly enough, I used to sell the Green Un around the Townville Estate in Cas. I had to walk around like an arse shouting ECHO FINAL, FINAL ECHOOOAH and people would appear from darkened doorways and pay for their paper |
