Rather of kept flo than bringing nobody in tbh. Covers a multitude of positions, the fact he has left means I'll be confused if nobody is brought in. Exactly this. If letting him go hasn't allowed us to bring someone in then what was the point? I'm still semi-hopeful we will see a winger appear in these last few hours. To get a large wage off the bill for a player that’s not good enough to get in our side. I don’t think people realise that once the parachute payments stop we’re skint, 20k a week saved could pay for 2-3 players wages. Whether that’s this season, next or further down the line it doesn’t matter. We was one of the smaller spenders in this league and still needed to be bank rolled by Hoyle.

Read her life story, she used to work at Fox's Biscuits in Batley and literally smoked other people's cast off cig butt's as she couldn't afford to buy her own. I once saw her in the pub in Wakey on a Saturday night, it was after she'd spent all her winnings but before she found religion. I suppose that anyone who remembers her as a famous pool's winner will also remember buying a Green un for the scores on a Saturday and mutter whose he think he is, Stirling Moss? at a speeding car? Oddly enough, I used to sell the Green Un around the Townville Estate in Cas. I had to walk around like an arse shouting ECHO FINAL, FINAL ECHOOOAH and people would appear from datekened doorways and pay for their paper Masterpiece in journalism the Green Un. How they managed to print the results and then distribute the paper that quickly was remarkable.

We had one called Lolley! Nobody gave a shit when he left including myself as then, we didnt think he was good enough for us. Fairplay to the lad hes gone on to do well and proved most of us wrong. Dont hold that one against the club though. Lolley showed he had more class against West Ham than Kachunga, Ince, Quaner, Diakhaby, Mbenza and Pritchard did combined over the whole 2 years we were in the Premier League.

No we understand we are skint and we know why.

It isn't 20k a week for a long time. It's half a year's wages for a squad player that we could well need to stay up this season. If it would pay for 2-3 players (I'm pretty sure it couldn't btw) then we could have got 1 of those in this window. Saving money is all well and good, but doing it at the detriment of the squad when we're in a real scrap at the bottom.

Cant remember how he played to be honest and i went to both home and away that season against West Ham. We got battered in both games. He must of been outstanding. Nobody cared when we sold him. Its alright saying how good he was now.

Based on Man U last season and hull this, the sprint twins were going to rip this league a new one. One game does not a prem player make......he can play but still isn’t at prem level for me.

We had one called Lolley! If ever there was a stick to beat Town with, this is it. I am sick to bloody death of folks moaning about us letting him go. Hindsight is a wonderful thing and, yes, he's doing well for Forest now. But he NEVER pulled up any trees for us, was constantly injured, and he was - and still is - a "one trick pony". Never for one second did he look good enough for the Premier League, and at that time we were an EPL club, so why keep Championship quality players? It made perfect sense to let him go. For God's sake, please give this a rest.

Loads of time left to get Mbenza out and a decent replacement in. The January window has been disappointing recently and this one hasn’t so I’m optimistic.

Koroma gone. Surely one is coming in? Letting Koroma go out on loan without another winger lined up to come in to replace him would seem a bit perverse, I agree!

Town were rolled over that day, but Lolley was particularly bad and looked to have no football intelligence. Good luck to the lad, he was a decent servant, but that’s all.

So 3 wide players have gone out today surely that means there's one in. Perhaps if MBenza is gone as well that allows us to bring in a couple?

Ironic that Bolton Terrier has liked that cos he pronounces it "Tor" (probably) I certainly dont. My daughter is on the verge of doing though... Next you'll be telling me that a teacake is a teacake unless it's got currants in and then it's a currant teacake ?

I don't think DC would allow Koroma to go out on loan unless he had someone lined up.

I think one is done, my mates just text "one down, trying hard for the other. One more might have just come available"
Best I can do at this moment, I've asked him for more

For me this means that there must be two players lined up, or ESR will be playing wing
