Rather of kept flo than bringing nobody in tbh. Covers a multitude of positions, the fact he has left means I'll be confused if nobody is brought in. Exactly this. If letting him go hasn't allowed us to bring someone in then what was the point? I'm still semi-hopeful we will see a winger appear in these last few hours. Flo wanted to play regular football. It's not that we've pushed him out the door. |

If ever there was a stick to beat Town with, this is it. I am sick to bloody death of folks moaning about us letting him go. Hindsight is a wonderful thing and, yes, he's doing well for Forest now. But he NEVER pulled up any trees for us, was constantly injured, and he was - and still is - a "one trick pony". Never for one second did he look good enough for the Premier League, and at that time we were an EPL club, so why keep Championship quality players? It made perfect sense to let him go. For God's sake, please give this a rest. West Ham at home, great goal.......but I also remember Fulham at home the season before when Lolley looked every bit a player out of his depth. Town were rolled over that day, but Lolley was particularly bad and looked to have no football intelligence. Good luck to the lad, he was a decent servant, but that’s all. That is shite. It was so obvious Joe Lolley had an abundance of natural talent the whole time he was at Town. Beats defenders with a simple drop of the shoulder for fun. The Redditch Messi. We were unfortunate with him injury wise. Plus DW preferred Kachunga on the RW because he was a work horse. Imagine a front 3 of Lolley, RVLP and Wells in this seasons Championship... Shit Hot!! |

We had one called Lolley! Do you remember the Kidderminster fan who came on here, made GreyhoundKev our resident Lincoln / Cowley's fan look like a total stranger, no offence Kev, started out saying how lucky we were to have an England International on our hands, then started to get annoyed because we didn't play him and argue we should sell him to a proper club that would use him. Having said that I think injuries did him no favours here but he was the type of player that would have got a bucket load of goals for Peterborough before sealing a multimillion deal to Everton. |

If that's how this works, I've never posted any news on player movements before but here goes :- So it's deadline day and I predict that Flo, Koroma and youngster Rowe will all leave on loan deals before the cut off point. Those are certainties, there's a possibility of some others but it depends on the chains involving other clubs. Think you'll find that gives me a 100% success rate. #If you know you know |

Am I the only one who remembers Lolley had given a goal away before the equaliser against West Ham? He was generally a massive disappointment. He was with us four years, so not exactly a rash decision to get rid.

A lot of people are talking as if we have got rid of them but so far none of them are permanent so it only frees up wages for as long as they are on loan. We may also be subsidizing some of them. Hope they are all successes and get snapped up on permanents in the summer. |
