They're going to tear us a new one without a doubt. Wouldnt be remotely surprised if we lose this one 0-4 or worse.

Because it's on TV maybe the likes of TK & the rest might actually put in a performance to impress perspective buyer's? Prospective buyers watched that yesterday, and every other game he's appeared in. You mean Barry from the West Midlands, at home crashed out on the sofa scoffing crisps whilst watching TV, isn't a potential buyer for Kongolo?

honestly we stand a chance against anyone at home, but this is going to go one of two ways.
either the players are nervous and we get an absolute battering or....
we're right up for it but still get battered.
I hope cowley and cowley are prepared for this week.

They don't actually score a lot of goals in games, yesterday aside, they seem to win by the odd goal on the flip side they don't concede that many either. I work with someone who is a season ticket holder at Elland Road and he says they are garbage at times but are super bloody organised and are defensively tight, he says they are a striker short. I think Cowley will know this, in fact I'm sure he will and will prepare this week as necessary.

Middlesbrough look to be plummeting headlong towards League One along with two others from Barnsley, Luton and Stoke.

Thank fook I'm on my jollies, the only problem is that I'll know the result 7 hours before the rest of you. I won't let on though.

I did say yesterday aside Nick. Middlesbrough look to be plummeting headlong towards League One along with two others from Barnsley, Luton and Stoke. Disagree with that. Few teams including ourselves in the mixer. Barnsley aside, we got a lucky win against Stoke, beaten by Luton and drew at home to Boro who we were second best against.

Not filled with confidence by the sounds of it on here, understandably in the circumstances. I left a comment in another thread yesterday about in football `expect the unexpected` hopefully an unexpected result will occur and it can, although we`re far from prolific we`ve only failed to score in three league games this season, so if we can defend we have a chance and although Leeds dont often concede they`re going to have a bad day sometime, lets not write the game off before a balls kicked, we should be up for this.

Despite the crap result and performance yesterday the Cowleys have turned it round and improved things, I'm more than confident they will keep us up given they are able to bring in a few new faces in January.

Town win is 10/1; is it worth a bet or is it money down the drain?

TTID Sorry, you’re right, that’s not correct as I misread it. 10/1 is the odds for both teams to score and Town to win. 11/2 for a straight Town win. Both good odds actually if you think we have any chance at all!

Not sure if it’s been mentioned yet but Phillips is suspended for them, which is massive.. totally runs the show in midfield for them.

Yep, and quite a few bookies offering similar. Town or draw is around 6/4.

As Impact said earlier, Leeds are not big scorers.

In assessing odds, it needs to be borne in mind that bookies aim to balance their book so that they make money no matter what the result. Because Leeds have a much bigger "fan" base (including armchair "supporters") there will be a wall of money going on them. Consequently, the bookies will lengthen Town odds (and shorten Leeds odds) in order to attract bets on Town. The consequence is that when backing Town in this match you will get better value than an objective assessment of the result would suggest.
