£20 How much without a season ticket? Bradford were doing half price admission if you show your season ticket but I felt a bit tight only paying a fiver so didn't bring it... thinking about trying to do two games in a day but if Halifax want £20 off me they can stick it up their arse sideways. I might give it a go anyway... I'm feeling generous but they won't be selling me a beer or a pie! The bloke on the turnstile let me in for a tenner when I mentioned I was a Town season ticket holder, so i did end up having a beer. But my day is two games, two defeats, none scored and three conceded... maybe I should continue to stay away even when the season starts up again!

Mate from England was supposed to be coming over to visit me here in Leipzig, so the original plan was to go out and support the local economy in various bars in the city centre whilst catching a Bundesliga game. But that's been put on ice now, the bugger decided to stay in England - cinemas haven't all shut yet in Germany, so will probably go and watch 1917 or the Terminator: Dark Fate if I can find somewhere playing it. Other than that, it'll be doing something that I've been meaning to do but haven't yet got around to: Like learning how to play the deceptively tricky intro to The La's "There she goes" on the guitar. Some may argue it's not tricky at all, but I'm hopelessly out of practice :-( Not that easy without yer Saturday football, is it? Just get your left hand fingers correct and you'll find it's not too difficult. It's a nice little riff. Good luck. Cheers - just spent an hour on it, and kind of getting there - didn't realise he plays the first part in one position - addicted to it now, can't get away from it :-)

Didn't know he was an addict, though. I was trying to think of the last time I got that high (musically) to sing a song like that, and could only come up with shortly after the Andy Booth goal v Brentford (looping header in injury time, same game as the smarty top incident), where I shouted so loudly that my voice broke and I ended up sounding like a little girl for a few seconds. Cracking song, though, even if I am 30 years late in trying to learn it :-)

I hear that there's a wild sex party at the Nook (bring your own cheesecake). I went to that, it was ok but then I got a bit bored and buggered everyone to death

No afternoon in bed for mum today, we're gonna be together!
Today looks like a few jobs this morning then a trip to Barnsley market - new indoor one, been trying to get down and pay it a visit for some time, got a cracking food hall apparently - get lunch, back in time to watch some film on the box at 3pm.
Chill out this aft and the out for a few jars tonight Pretty impressive that market food set up at Barnsley

Currently reading a Frank Zappa biography and listening to the huge body of work he produced during his lifetime. Some mad stuff in there but hugely entertaining and it should keep me busy for weeks.

Had a lovely freshly cooked curry and chapatti for just over a fiver. Wakefield had a reasonable market until the arseholes sold out and flattened it to allow eyesore that is trinity walk to be built.

After reading something on another thread here, I'm mostly trying to change my VPN to Italy.....
All that hand sanitiser and loo roll will come in handy.

For those of us keen enough to be on this Board we will of course just resume where we left off when the footie comes back. It will, though, be interesting to see whether nore casual supporters come back? They may well have found other interests? Also, how many Sky Sports viewers will have decided they can live without paying that extra subscription? Just a thought!

And even if they aren't, I'll try my best to make sure that you don't dominate the match threads as a matter of course!

I was having a late pub lunch yesterday and noticed there was football on TV which seemed strange under current situation but something didn't look quite right. On closer inspection it was The Big Match from 1974!

I'm sure the one I caught a bit of was Man U but didn't pay much attention. I realised it was old stuff when there was someone being escorted round the perimeter of the pitch wearing huge flares.😄

Watched Schindler’s list for the first time over 3 hours long, a truly remarkable story. Schindler's penalty is a far more exciting watch. You could repeat it roughly 899 times in 3 hours. A true story also, so they reckon..

A true story also, so they reckon.. Watched the re-run of the 2017 Play Off Final on Sky Sports last night. Somehow they managed to fill out an hour with the highlights. What a terrible match it was except the shoot out. Marginally better than the 2012 final though.

From today - avoiding this board. As there's nothing Town related to talk about the doom and gloom portrayed in the Covid 19 thread is enough to drive anyone away.

Spent part of the weekend sorting out my son's university loan application and various bits of paperwork that the university wanted - although god knows what's going to happen to his education over the next few weeks/months.

Running. Getting upper body strength back. Catching up with silly small things I have been putting off for months. Checking statements, cancelling dongles, blowing up tyres. Masturbating. Contemplating how to make more money when footy starts again. Watching odd TV for the first time in months....anyone seen "Naked Attraction"...beyond weird?
