I can also see Arsenal fans hijacking this vote as well.

Rightly pretty conclusive, despite going off the boil post lockdown.

Deserved. Really shows you that most town fans value hard work ethic on the pitch over any technical skill.
Hope he keeps improving and should be a key player in the midfield going forward.

I know you're ultimately complimenting him, but I don't actually get where you're coming from. He is good technically! It's doing him a disservice implying this award was primarily down to effort.

I agree totally. He is technically good with the ball - as demonstrated by his goals at Barnsley and WBA and also the recent assist at home to to WBA. Just cos he works hard doesn't mean there isn't quality there. One of Town's problems in the last couple of years is the constant use of 'workers' with little technical ability/end product like Hogg, Kachunga (and Van la Parra whilst he was here). MouniƩ gets slagged by a portion of Town support for being 'lazy' yet scored a good amount of goals for the number of minutes he played.

Oh yeah, I'm not meaning to say he's bad technically, it's just we've all noticed how hard he works on the pitch and that seems to be the main reason for the fans taking a liking to him so quickly.

Deserved, and one of the more predictable winners of the award in recent years. Ok he wasn't great after lockdown (don't think anyone was, plus don't forget he's still young so bound to have periods where he's inconsistent/not as good) but overall he's definitely the right winner

The "Factor 50" song might be a bit of a laugh, but the heat can be genuinely hard work for those with fair skin and red hair (take it from one who knows!) Even if I were a fit professional athlete like he is, there is no way I could have played for 90 minutes in the heat we saw in some games. Just a thought.
