Only if he'll accept payment in the form of leftover pies in the club's freezer. Well, I'm IN!!

I think we will be looking for players who will play for next to nothing as we are always being told how big our wage bill is even though the players took a 50% pay cut on relegation and we have parachute payments to support our wage bill!! DH always used to criticise clubs for using parachute payments for things other than supporting the wage bill until all the big earners had been moved on. If we aren't using parachute payments to help pay wages then its mismanagement of club funds? I know many say the parachute payments have been used to pay DH his money back but if that's true then it's the clubs fault they cant manage the wage bill so should stop bleating on about it. Embarrassing to see Devlin begging for help from EPL on national TV. We are one of the last clubs the EPL should help given we were in the EPL just 18 months ago

Was on £45,000 a week at Watford prior to their relegation. I doubt it. unless we can do a Derby and get a sponsor to pay his wages.

And then with this generous donation we signed the Lee Ashcroft on loan from Wigan who couldn't trap the proverbial bag of cement was barely even non-league standard!

For Ruben Loftus-Cheek! part of the reason is they want 'net pay', so depending on the tax (which is where most of the wages go) that determines the gross pay..poor sods paying £70,000 a week tax eh ?

Grabara, Lossl, Simpson, Stankovic, Quaner, Kachunga, King, Smith Rowe, Willock, Chalobah, Mounie, Coleman, Flo, Sobhi and soon to be Grant and Kongolo. There’s probably more.
Surely we can afford a couple of top quality loan signings?

From BBC Transfer Gossip...
"West Ham United were so desperate to sign Chelsea's England defender Fikayo Tomori, 22, on loan that they offered to pay the Blues £50,000 every time he did not play for the Hammers - but the deal still collapsed. (Talksport)"
The game is completely broken.

You forgot Bockhorn We do have to count the returning loan players as well so we have added Hamer, Pereira, Pipa, Sarr, Diakhaby, Eiting, Mbenza, Koromoa and Ward. I get there has to be a reduction in the wage bill as well but for it need Grant and Kongolo to leave to allow us to bring in a couple of loans is pretty depressing. I'm sure if Hoyle hadn't got ill we wouldn't be scrimping so much as it appears we are.

If I remember rightly it was paid by a Town fan, his company is near the brick rail arches in Mirfield, something like SJS ? He got 5 minutes fame for his money but zero goals.

I’ve never know so few rumours about signings.
Is it the new format on here? Are the club tighter with information leaking? Or we just not even looking at other players?

Saw that Arsenal had left Ozil out of their Europa League squad so was intrigued to look at the squad Arteta had picked as I assumed Smith Rowe would have been included, given he's just back from injury and Ozil is his main competetion in the position he plays. Surprised to see Smith Rowe not included either. Maybe a loan to the Championship beckons....
EDIT - looked more into this, and apparently young home-grown players like ESR can be named on a B list and still be eligigble to play in Europe. Oh well, the dream is over again!

It's quite obvious we're waiting for certain players to be bought before anyone else comes in.
