But if football gets cancelled again, we will be okay, other clubs won't. We have been sensible and I applaud PH for that, but surely 1 deal for a frontman isn't going to hinder us too much On this - anybody know what the rules are re postponements if players have tested for Covid? Is there a minimum number of players that need to get it before a match is postponed or do teams just have to play whoever is available? |

Yes it is, he's trying to turn around a s*** show created by his predecessor. However selling the amount of players we have (for some decent money) and not showing any intent to bring in some quality on a permanent basis with that cash would deserve criticism. You are missing my point, which i understand these threads are very tedious. the question is You say " If it does work out that we only get Aarons and him only then Phil deserves every ounce of questioning/criticism he gets" So by extraction - IT is implied - " If it does not work out that we only get Aarons and him only then Phil deserves every ounce of questioning/criticism he gets" He doesn't deserve the criticism. Said it before, the club are actually lucky fans aren't allowed in this year, its meant only Internet noise. If we bought no-one in today and lost at home midweek the ground would meltdown i reckon. Sack the board banners would be out, with a smaller in Carlos we trust. Anyway. I'll save that for the 8 or so thousand that decide to attend next year. |

At the risk of being labelled a 'bed wetter'. This has been a pathetic window by Town. We're now being out competed by practically everyone in this division. Anyone who finds this asset stripping acceptable has no ambition for this football club. Well done, Deano. Its been a good window for you and your accomplice. If you really believe this, I truly am sorry for you, it must be distressing. You have ignored everything that has disrupted the markets in the last 6 months and it seems that you would be happy for us to disregard the risks in British football and follow a financial plan that could risk the existence of our club. It is in my opinion fool hardy. If other clubs want to roll the dice for shit or bust, so be it. Its not for me. Ambition for the club, continued existence and a good day out (when permitted) Entertainment and excitement is enough for me. The Prem was like going to London, nice to visit but i dont want to live there. To disregard what dean Hoyle did for the club is insulting and rude. |

If Dean hadn't taken his money back, how do you think things would be different now? Do you think we'd be spending millions on players, and paying them £30k per week? We wouldn't. The club is on an even keel in these uncertain times, and being prudent isn't a bad thing. Come 5pm ish and we have the extra couple of players in and things will look rosier....and if things need tweaking the window opens again in 11 weeks Exactly. |
