He does right... every word he says gets twisted or posted on here daily (hi specialun) He has made it clear that he will leave the running of the club to the likes of Devlin/Bromby. Whilst I agree that Bromby seems a big step down so far compared to what we’ve had before - and he seems lacking in experience - I don’t think PH keeping out of the way is such a bad thing in general. I do think we are now lacking in the squad. I had hoped 3 would come in. Having Kongolo, Grant and Mounié wages off the books and transfer fees really should have allowed us to strengthen. I would certainly take VLP back. While I am disappointed with how the window ended and hope there will be some explanation from the club, I think the recruitment we have done is the best since summer 2017. And CC seems better than anybody since Wagner . Bromby has to take some credit for that so not a step down. Due diligence seems better, this team playing Cowleys after lockdown, I think this team wins I also think PH is getting blamed more than is fair. He learnt from last years mistake keeping Jan and this year acted quickly, not in a plotless, way to replace the cowleys. His biggest mistake for me is trusting Dean, but we all did at the time. Think he is learning and doing what he believes is best for the club long term despite the flack he receives. Can we all just stop calling him Plotless Phil now.... Oh wait my bad

I have to admit to checking the Fulham & WBA 'line ups' on BBC Sport every week to see if Kongolo and Grant have appeared and/or performed.
Everybody loves a bit of Schadenfreude!

Been a rather naughty boy again; dropped to the U23s for having a birthday party*
It was noted as a surprise party, so little he can do about the planning, but nonetheless....Not the first time his conduct has been called into question.
*sorry, a little late in flagging this.

Apologies. I did try to search in advance of the post. Don't worry, it's typical of some of the buggers on here to hide a story about an ex player in the ex players thread.
