Until yesterday, Leicester were the only team who've won the league but never won the FA Cup.
They now join 5 other teams who've won the league but only ever won the cup once.
Who are the 5?

I thought football didn't start until 1992.

Might be tough for some. Which 5 clubs have won all the top four English professional league championships (not including Prem)

Who scored their winning goal in their single FA cup win? That goal and piece of commentary has stuck with me for some bizarre reason.

Portsmouth Wolves Burnley Sheff Utd Preston ?? Give the man a cigar. Did you know that off the top of your head? Didn't know it for sure, just worked out the ones who had been in the 4th division, and assumed if they'd won that then 3rd and 2nd div would have been probable. Still shocked to get all 5 though, well happy!

Correct, fivers in the post...well that question didnt go far! The final programme has photos from both teams semi, it just stuck in my head for some reason, even though the programme is boxed up somewhere in the house, not looked at for years.

Robert Lewandowski equalled the 49 year old Bundesliga goalscoring record yesterday getting his 40th of the season with a penalty. Gerd Müller who has held the record for almost half a century will probably lose it as Bayern Munich have still one game to play. At home to their Bavarian neighbours Augsburg it'll be funny watching all the other Bayern players constantly giving the ball to Lewandowski to get his 41st. He's gone and done it! Last minute goal in the final game of the season. New Bundesliga goalscoring record is 41. It had to happen sometime. Will it last for a future half century?

This doesn't happen very often: Man Utd become only the 3rd club (4th team) to achieve an unbeaten run of games away from home for a whole season in England's top flight. Previous heroes were Preston 1889, and Arsenal, not once but twice! 2002 and 2004.

But only the second club ever in the top flight of Europe’s top 5 leagues (England, Spain, Italy, Germany and France) to do it and NOT win the title - name the other.

I was working away staying in digs and I had a bet on with a local who was an Arsenal fan. When Ipswich scored I leapt out of my chair and threw my arms in the air and smashed a hand-painted light shade. Cost me £30 to replace, not cheap back then.

I believe those words were issued as an instruction in the Bullingdon club in the early 1990's...

Probably the only player to ever score at Wembley and then have to be substituted having over celebrated and fainted ?

Quickest hattrick in Champions League history tonight. Three for Mo Salah within 6 minutes against Rangers, and he came on as a 2nd half sub!

Celtic have lost each of their last seven home Champions League games, equalling the longest run of home defeats by a team in the competition, previously set by Monaco between May 2017 and December 2018.
They haven't won a home Champions League group game in NINE YEARS! Their last group stage home win was against Ajax in October 2013.

Rangers ATM have equalled the worst GD deficit in Champions League history and are on course to be the worst team ever if they fail to get a point from their last 2 games
