Seeing as he is being discussed elsewhere, thoguht maybe he could have his won thread. Apparently Walton-on-the-Hill Terrier is an admirer. Crawley technical director Erdem Konyar (no, me nieher) says he's the most valuable striker in England here. He suggests a price tag of £2m, but given his goal a game ratio and the proft we turned on Karlan Grant, maybe Phil could be tempted?

Out of interest, what is the most we have spent on a player since Phil took over and how much have we recouped? Would be interesting to see our total outgoings vs our total spend since Phil took over

Just back home from seeing Crawley v Bradford. Been a long day.
Good to see Lee Novak still knows where the net is. 100% trier who I always liked and has had a good career. Chuffed for him.
My first sight of Watters in the flesh. Tall, speedy, looks for space, but clearly not his best game tonight, though he had little support. Unfair to judge him on tonight.

Check the timelines then you might understand. Did I say I rated Novak? No, I said he was a trier, and respected him for that.

I'm sure it's just me but whenever I see this guys name I think of Mad Twatter, a character from Skins, when it was worth watching

Not in the side tonight, so suspect he's leaving (either a done deal or not risking injury).

I'd love us to surprise everyone and sign a player that's actually on top of his game in a decent league.

Watters not in the squad today, fans believe he’s on his way. Seen Swansea, WBA & Brighton linked.

No need to be facetious. Surely, everybody loves it when a member of the public tells them how to do their job?

Dont see why anyone would email their club about a player. I'm sure those that work for the club know what they are doing. Actually might email CC now and say Dialhaby should never play again, I'm sure he will listen to a lad that lives in a small house in a little village

Seeing a player away from our back yard and in a much lower league is likely to be missed by the club until the whole of the football league become aware of them, so a tip may be worth considering. It is down to the club to work out the process of handling tips from the general public. I guess that the general response may well be the bin unless the tipster has a channel to someone within the club.

Don't see a problem with Epsom contacting the club about players he's seen, what harm does it do?

Don't see a problem with Epsom contacting the club about players he's seen, what harm does it do? Not quite correct Zoso, obviously I couldn’t go to games! I was tipped off about Watters after he’d only been at Crawley a couple of weeks by someone I know who is a former coach there. In his words “CT think they’ve unearthed the next Jamie Vardy”. Remember, this was when the season had hardly started. So I told Town. Now he’s got 15 goals. I did see him about a month ago now against Bradford but it clearly wasn’t his best performance. I’ve no idea if Town were even aware of him. Does no harm to tell them, but it seems some posters just don’t get it.
