Very much doubt Town will be going up or down so surely a decent cup run is a must for many otherwise season seems more or less over .
I live in the west country with a lot of my mates being Argyle supporters and very much in touch what their teams recent results and expectations for this match.
Most seem to think its there for the taking and think town might rest most of their first team players as playing a team from a lower division.
Plymouth have a decent team with an inform quality striker called Luke Jephcott who could rip our dodgy defence apart if given to much room .
Jephcott will surely be on the move soon to the championship and Saturday will see him more in the spotlight .
Remember the name .
Fuck the tile, he'll be supplying goals for a while. The return of DJ Smile. I’ve missed him

Just checked out the FA Player. Be interesting to see how it works on Saturday, the website seems to be very slow today.

You're not half talking them up there. Is this the same Plymouth that are currently 15th in league 1? Rip our dodgy defence apart? They're hardly a free scoring team. 28 goals in 21 games is bang average, they've also conceded 37 goals in those games.

Particularly when you consider that both teams are much better at home than away. Plymouth have the second worst away defensive record in their division, we have eighth best, we're also joint eighth best home scorers, they're seventh worst away scorers.

Well going on what Carlos said yesterday he’s using it as a game to give players who haven’t had my minutes a run out so I’ll go. Hamer Rowe Critchlow REG Brown Vallejo Jackson Pritchard Grant Phillips Diakhaby Bench full of b team lads Ifhe plays Pritchard and Diakhaby they'd then be cup tied, so if they are considering selling them then they may not play. Hamer Rowe Ayina Chrichlow Brown High Diarra Daly Grant Philips Jackson. I'd like to see High, but I think he'll play Vallejo. If we sign anyone during the week who has been playing first team football, then he may play. I remember Izzy playing against Port Vale when he came in. Those were the days.....two consecutive FA cup ties, second strings, both 4-0 wins followed by a second string holding Man City 0-0!

For once it would be nice if the club made a concerted effort to try and progress a round or two. As the league campaign is clearly going to end in mid table mediocrity without any real dramas we have an opportunity to give the FA Cup our full attention. Play a strong team and crack on. They will all have had a full week's rest before the game. The poor loves will be fine. We could soon get dragged in. Hull were 8th on 39 points after 26 matches last season and finished bottom. They sold their best players in January and didn't replace.

I know they are the extreme example, 6 points from now till the end of the season. But someone from mid table always gets dragged in.

Very surprised if Jephcott is still at Plymouth come the end of the transfer window as seems to so many that he is one of these strikers playing well below his level. After following football for well over 50 years you do tend to realise abit of quality when you see it Best wait and see

Game live on B T SPORT 1800 kick off
Really? I thought it was on the FA Player simply because it hadn't been selected by the other broadcasters. Happy to be proved wrong, even though I don't have access to Sky, BT, Amazon or any other such platform.

Many people got excited about the seconds during pre season but many like Duhaney,Rowe Brown,Barratt,Daly,Crichlow have proved that stepping up to real football has been harder than many predicted. Rowe definitely thinks he is the man,but has looked slow and naive.I think we have to give some of them the opportunity, but nothing I've seen makes me believe the task will be as easy as many believe. Plymouth sadly will fancy their chances and unless the lads get themselves motivated I think they'll be in for a lesson.I know many aren't bothered, but what else are we to hope for,a perrenial midtable carousel?
